No MLS players? Is there something going on where MLS players wouldnt be included? I would expect Zardes and Morris at least to be on this roster.

MLS playoffs + COVID = No MLS. Anyway, looking at this roster I honestly think maybe one MLS player would crack the XI and maybe a couple more in the 18. If all these guys stay healthy, qualifying and 2022 is going to be awfully fun.

Keep an eye on Cardoso. A little biased because he was born in same town as me lol, but very interested to see if he brings some Brazilian moves to the attack.

Getting Musah in there is huge. Smart by him TBH. England he would have to wait a while for PT. Teams are willing to pay more for an American international they think can be the next Pulisic.

I can’t get over how excited I am about this squad. Look at those team names on this roster. This isn’t 2010 or even 2016 where it’s players in these academies. These are players actually making an impact at some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

we'll see. It'd be nice to see them to fun and competitive.

We’ve always been competitive, we have not always or even ever been fun. This squad has the talent to be a lot of fun and absolutely dominate lesser squads while competing with the big boys. I think it’s a couple years away from being that level, but we don’t need them to be that now.

Yes this squad should have no problems with the T&Ts or Barbados of the CONCACAF. I do worry about the lack of experience and physicality on the road in Central America.

Yeah I agree with all of this. A Wondolowski tap in (whole reason he's on the team) from meeting Argentina in the quarterfinals of 2014 that I think was absolutely beatable by the USMNT. The problem is, the USMNT can play like they played against Ghana, Portugal, Germany, and Belgium then go and lay an absolute egg against almost every CONCACAF member not named Canada.

Westin got 32 min as a sub and had a nice dummy that allowed Morata to put a fine one in upper corner. Didnt get to see Gio today.

ManU lawdamercy. How long before Ole is gone?

It wasn't on tv here, but I heard they were all flat. Saw the first goal... Ba had 15 yards on everybody when he got the ball, in his own half. They sat back, United shit the bed.

I like Ole, but I think we see Poch by Christmas.

Hoping for Upamecano and Sancho in one of the next two windows...

TAA, Joe, VVD.... fuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkk.

That leaves Matip and several lads to get us through to January in the league and all three tournaments. lol

Chance Matip stays healthy? ZERO

Gomez is months, not weeks.

They will need to get someone in January during the transfer window. Fuck the FA Cup...nobody cares.

Matip, Fabinho, Phillips, Williams. Phillips isn't on the CL roster, though.

Fabinho and Tiago are back after the break. YNWA.

Pool's got a brutal stretch coming up in December. The rest of the league better capitalize because I suspect come January, Pool will find their form.

No Pulisic no party, but love that Musah is now provisionally cap tied.

Pretty bland but US clearly the better team. Liked what I saw out of just about everyone besides Robinson a few times. Konrad struggled a bit but got himself in good positions, likely struggled from lack of PT.

Steffen looked really good in the few times he was tested.

Brooks' distribution for a CB is top tier. He needs to stay healthy.

McKennie, Reyna, and Adams for the next 3 cycles locking down the midfield? Yes please.

Neeeeed to cap-tie Musah and Cardoso.

Would have been a lot more fun with Pulisic, Sargant, and Bale involved, but for a 0-0 draw was entertaining enough.

Dominating effort against Panama after conceding a sloppy early goal. 3-1 at the half. Youngest line up ever put out by the US.

Reyna, Dest, McKennie, and Musah have put on a master class this half. Nico Gioacchini has been solid and opportunistic. Ream has shown why he won't feature for the US really ever again in a competitve match.
