As a Chelsea fan, I am giddy as hell that we pissed in Spurs Cheerios. Congrats to Leicester. They were truly outstanding down the stretch. Next year big boss Conte is coming in to do an overhaul on this CFC roster. The Blues will be back.

I heard a run down like a month ago on the radio and the closest one they had was the Rams when they broke through and that was something like 350-1 (off memory) so yeah, there is nothing really close here... maybe not in western or major global sports period. This is Hollywood fantasy type stuff.

It seems the closest thing anyone can think of is Greece winning Euro 2004. Not bad, but not quite the same.

Leicester City's accomplishments should make fans of every team in every sport BELIEVE. Unless they roots for Cleveland Browns

Straight up fvk the men in blazers.....

Rog HATES Randy Lerner for what he has done to Aston Villa. And he's not even a Villa fan. He just hates him.

Whatever, the guy hasn't been involved in the Browns for years now... I didn't even know he bought AV unitl just now, what did he do? Newcastle Unite the club??

Post #4722 I told ya'll Chelsea would go balls to the wall against Tottenham. Jesus, we played right into their hand. EPL-record 9 yellow cards and 20 fouls overall. Losing the 2-0 lead to boot, just ridiculous.

Even handing the title to Leicester in this fashion kind of sucked instead of them doing it on the field this weekend.

Dembele and Lamela are surely receiving bans after tonight. Who knows what they will do with Poch for his run on to the field. Even Walker could get looked at for a couple incidents. Dier should have received a red card near the end. Spurs just lost their minds.

Alderweireld and Rose both got hurt, too. Just a terrible outcome for Spurs.

Interested to see how the Arsenal vs. City game goes this weekend pending the Citizens playing Real Madrid in a couple days. Spurs can clinch 2nd place with a win over Southampton in the early Sunday game. But if they draw or lose, then Arsenal can move within 1 point or even on points heading into the final week of matches.

Leicester showed no signs of losing this title. I admitted that at least 6 weeks ago. I don't even know how I'd process Arsenal slipping ahead of Spurs with how awesome this season has been for Tottenham.

Nah, Guus tripped over the stairs, I think.

Looks like Poch was having some words with Fabregas who was being whisked away by Guus. Then just as Rose comes in to get in Fabregas' face, Guus trips over the stairs.

Upon further review, I think you're right. nice catch.

That game last night ... What a spectacle. Spurs just completely lost their composure after the second CFC goal. The nasty tackles flying all over the pitch ... It's a wonder there weren't more injuries.

And that Hazard goal ... Incredible.

Spurs have been losing composure in a bunch of games late this season.

How many straight reds could have been given in that game? Maybe as many as four, by my unofficial count: Dembele, Dier, Lamela, and Walker all committed what appeared to be violent conduct. Just a crazy game to watch.

But John Terry had this to say afterward:

"Players are fighting for league titles, it's emotions," Terry said after the match.

"It boiled over [but] let's not get silly and start banning people, it's a London derby and the fans want to see it."

I kind of agree with that. No one was seriously hurt by the offenses. I'd like to see the FA just move on.

ur not even in europe next season lol

It was a disaster start to the season. Shit happens. They'll be back and even better with Conte. Arsenal and Spurs fans are all pissed beyond belief bc this should have been the year for one of those clubs with Chelsea, Liverpool, and United all down this year. One of those clubs should have stepped to win the Prem and they didnt. Their fans know that the big clubs wont stay down long. Man U will be back sooner than later. Man City will only get better with Pep coming. Arsenal shit the bed far more than Spurs did down the stretch, but when it mattered, Spurs couldn't beat a shyt Chelsea side that has zero identity.

Oh and now we have a Reds fan coming out of the woodwork. Lol. What is it now? 25 or is it 26 years since you've last won the League? lol

Be careful. LFC are the Notre Dame of English football. If you go down this road, you start to sound a little USC-ish.

Theres nothing but rumors at the moment. But there is a lot of speculation that Courtois wants out and that Conte wants to try and lure over some Serie A talent such as Bonnucci and Nainggolan. Still too early for any solid news.

I'm not a bandwagon Chelsea fan like most of them here in the US. I have family that lives there and have been cheering for Chelsea since I was in grade school and they were absolute shit. So I will not apologize for anything.

I like Klopp. Hes great fun to watch. But what Conte did to bring back Juve after the scandal is pretty remarkable. You cannot deny that.

Nainggolan is one of my favorite players, and he would be a great pickup for Chelsea, imo. They have good defensive CMs (Mikel and Matic) and a great attacking CM (Fabregas) but they need a CM engine who can do a bit of both for them.

I didn't mean to suggest for a moment that you are a bandwagon fan.

Matic has been playing very poorly the entire second half of the season. I'm not entirely sure he will work in Contes system. Bonnucci could be his replacement, but I dont think they will get rid of him just yet. I think Oscar is going to be sold and there may not be room for Pedro anymore if they get Nainggolan especially since Hazard and Willian are here to stay. I wouldnt mind selling Diego and Pedro to try and free up some money for a striker.
