I randomly adopted Spurs as my team back in the summer and purchased my Spurs Team vLogo in November.

Good win. Tough win without van der Varrt and Bale

yea, no doubt. Im guessing its bacause of how well Bale is playing along with vdV--- Opposition playing tighter in the middle is allowing Lennon to work the flank more.

COYS!

COYS!

You can't get a game from the highlights lad. Spurs dominated the first half and fought for the deserved win. Milan showed up for basically 20 minutes of the match.

Rafa Van Der Vaart did played but was subbed off after 60. He was energetic and almost nipped a slick goal.

Interesting to see what will happen to Genaro Gattuso. Shell of his old self and atones for lack of technical skill with thuggish behavior.

COYS

Thanks for the post! Had to watch 30 minutes of Fox Soccer Report to get 30 seconds of Old Firm highlights last night.

That second goal is 100% class. I could watch the Arshavin goal (v Barca) and that 2nd Hooper goal over and over, wow super football!

The FSC vid was grainy and short so I couldn't tell what happened to the keeper on the 3rd goal but it looks like he wrong-footed him eh?

Don't care for L'pool much but REALLY don't like Italian football. Dislike L'pool less now that they have American ownership though.

Was that Benitez as manager? Amazing how fast coaches go from genius to bum in football (American too).

They had American ownership before Fenway Sports Group as well--names I cannot utter here, the thieving indebted bastards.

You don't have to like either side to appreciate that match. Incredible, unthinkable.

True that, I somehow totally deleted those nameless men from my memory (as I'm sure much of Liverpool has as well!).

He insults LFC and then calls me giff. What a guy!

Americans own ManU, but they are riddled with debt, and Qataris are looking at buying the club at this point. They could very well end up like LFC under Hicks and Gillette, which tore down the foundations of the squad to pay the interest on the debt they accrued. They were forced out by the fans, and New England Sports Ventures (NESV), now Fenway Sports Group (FSG) own the club. They got it on the cheap, for 300 million pounds. FSG owns the Red Sox and are the ones credited with turning that franchise around.

Hicks and Gillette were a terrible time for the club, and all you have to do is Google them to find out the horror stories.

Hate to break up this war of words but Arsenal and Aston Villa are both also majority owned by Americans with arguably better results than Liverpool (and financially than Man U). Stan Kroenke owns the majority of shares in Arsenal and he also owns the Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, Avalanche and the St Louis Rams. Randy Lerner owns the majority of shares in Aston Villa, also owns the Cleveland Browns. Insert your joke of the impending doom of Villa here...

I was just commenting on Liverpool's situation that ACamp asked for. I understand that there are other American owners, but Liverpool and ManU are wholly owned, and dwarf Aston Villa. I'll agree that Arsenal has been more successful in recent years, but they haven't won much silverware, because they turn a profit. They are one of the only EPL teams to do so, and it makes good financial sense. Arsenal does not realize their potential because they develop some of the best players in the world, and then sell them to make a profit. Now that is perfectly fine from an ownership point of view, but the fans want trophies. Arsenal should have a hell of a lot more trophies than they do. As for the Aston Villa being more successful than Liverpool, you really can't even argue that. There is no way, no how. Arsenal I'll admit, but Villa, really? It wasn't a war of words, we were just messing around, it's what we do.

ACamp

I was stoked that OL got the equalizer. They honestly looked really solid for the first half, but Real turned it on following the break, and they were lucky to break even. OL need a winger, those crosses were atrocious throughout the game.

A lot of tnhe people o the LFC forums want Sergio Ramos, but he played OL onside for their goal and is a foul committing machine. There is no denying his talent, but I don't think he's our solution.

I was unhappy that Chelski got the win. I hate Torres and hope they don't qualify for CL next season. **** the Chavs!

lol... I was happy they beat out Man U last year, but yeah, it's getting old quick...

I wouldn't mind seeing Arsenal win CL though... and no, I don't think it's impossible... hell, I'd like to see spurs make a run. but I hope Man U falls on their arse tomorrow... is that wrong??? lol

and here's hoping Lyon can pull out a win at Madrid... don't think there is a team I dislike more than Madrid.

I will print out a Marseilles logo and tape it to my shirt when watching that match tomorrow. I desperately hope the Mancs fall.

It's not impossible for Arsenal to win anything, they are at tremendous side, but not as good as they could be, is all I'm saying. They develop and sell, it keeps them at the top of the table, always challenging, but rarely winning, and it keeps money flowing to investors.

I don't hate Mardid so much as I hate Ronaldo.
