I struggled with distance control. So now every stroke I make my follow through as long as my back swing.

Pre round I’ll find the flattest part of the practice green and I’ll start hitting putts.
I’ll start big toe to big toe and walk it off.
Then middle of foot to middle of foot.
Pinky toe to pinky toe
Six inches past foot six inches past foot
Etc etc. I’ll then make notes on my phone on how far they rolled out.

Then when I’m out on the course I walk off every putt before hitting and refer back to my practice chart. Add or subtract when needed if there’s slope.

It’s not an exact science, but it puts it in a three foot circle most of the time and takes away the guessing.

I wondered if that was the drill. I've seen this drill on YouTube often. I. haven't fully incorporated the note-taking part, but when I say I practice putt for "feelz," that's basically what I'm doing...Foot to foot and beyond the foot roll-outs. It's helped me a ton with lag putting.

Best drill I've used for putt swing path is the one where you putt between the tees (one set for the putter path and one set for the ball path). That helped me quite a bit.

I really need to work on alignment. Last night during my practice I noticed that my sight line, eyes over the ball, etc were off to one side. I thought I was pullling/pushing putts. Turns out I was hitting it straight, but my alignment was off. I laid out an alignment stick and started burning edges immediately.

It’s robotic and takes away the “touch” part of putting, but the results work for me. As long as the practice green is similar to the greens on the course, it will translate.
Combined with the LAB starting the ball on my line over and over, it has really improved my score.

Do you know what your dominant eye is?
I’m right handed, but left eye dominant. It was another cause of my putting struggles. The aim always looked wrong at address and I wouldn’t trust my line.
Now I close my right eye when standing over the ball.

I'm right handed and right eye dominant. That's a good point though. I'll try closing my left eye next time I'm practicing to see if it helps.

Played my round lefty today. My buddy let me borrow his clubs.

I hit the ball much farther lefty but much straighter righty.

Can’t think of a more undeserving winner, after what he pulled off at Oakmont last year
