Was going to post in the VG thread, but I figured this would do. Just got an Xbox one and have been looking for new games/a decent shooter. Been having a good experience with Rainbow Six Siege.

Anyone play The Division yet? Seems on reddit its been getting a decent amount of flak. Ended up ordering it yesterday from Amazon for $25 ($39 originally, but had some points to spare).

Haven't played it. Hear it's enjoyable but has a terrible end game

I'm pretty disappointed by the apparent lack of anything done to FIFA's MMode... I'll just hold out hope that they will reveal changes later and chose to focus on UT and this story mode stuff at E3, which is highly possible...

also, what's a guy got to do to get Celtic Park in this game...?? It's easily been one of, if not the most famous stadium(s) not in the game for a number of years now.

Reading between the PR-ness a bit: I think they mean only certain games that have the (PC) icon next to them. Will really depend on how much they support it. I doubt many third-parties will be eager to give up potential secondary PC buyers in the future.

Yeah but it's digital-only, which addresses the concerns I had earlier. The devs are getting their $60 or whatever from every potential gamer and it cuts out preowned resale.

Looks like Forza Horizon 3 is going to have a significant off-road element. They're showing beaches, dunes, jungles, etc.

There is no One version. It's one digital license. You get both.

I get it, but as a guy who doesn't own a One, a better version of Forza coming to Windows 10 provides me no incentive to purchase a One. Unless the license is only available on the Xbox... in which case they will have a riot on their hands from Windows customers. Obviously this is all good for me, but I'm wondering what the long-term strategy is here.

Sell moar games? It's easier for them to convince you to buy Forza when you already have a PC than to convince you to buy an Xbox just to get at an exclusive title.

Just surprising considering that this is the exact opposite tactic taken by console makers since ... well ever. I'm obviously joking but if they were that invested in getting as many people as possible to buy the games they produce then they might as well sell them on PS4 as well and let Sony handle the headache/costs of hardware development. I get the difference, but this is Microsoft blatantly preferring software sales over hardware sales. It's an interesting development IMO.
