Well I hate to say it but he didn't look to be in great health as of New Year's Eve. I'm happy he did it, it was his thing forever, but seeing him like that was such a departure from the norm. RIP ****.

RIP Mr. Clark. I had a lot of fun watching his New Years Eve show as a teenager.

This was probably good for him. He has suffered ever since that stroke and his life was so messed up since. It is never good when someone dies it takes alot out of the family, But when you sit there and watch your family member or friend suffer it makes everyone suffer because you don't want that for them. I was never a huge fan of his but i am glad to see he isn't suffering anymore.

As a kid I logged many, many hours watching American Bandstand. Many artists and many songs saw the light of day with a national audience awakening.

This is one song I always associate with Dick Clark for its reference to "Philadelphia, PA," even though many other cities were mentioned.
