Never been a Kanye fan personally, I think he's been misguided for much of his life and I believe he's supposed to be on meds but probably isn't. This isn't new, this goes back 20 years this August. I can remember him dropping the bomb during the Hurricane Katrina Relief Telethon "They've given them permission to go down and shoot us...George Bush doesn't care about black people." along with a bunch of other stuff he said. Some of it was true, some of it was crazy, but all of it was wrong place and wrong time. He's got a history of crazy. He interrupted that award show when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video too, spoiling her moment to stump for Beyonce. Beyonce would later end up winning Best Video of the Year. Dude is just nuts. Maybe he just pushes the envelope for the shock factor, but when something is in poor taste it's in poor taste.

Tarriffs can't be completely accounted for yet. Democrats have been saying Trump has destroyed the deficit, by up to 10 trillion dollars since he's entered office.
Let's see what happens. Instead of calling out deficits without any true and up to date numbers.

If he fails, I promise you this. MAGA will not be happy.
Most every one of us, want the government to work for us, and that's why we hired him.

Just listen to the backlash about Epstein, with Patel and Bongino. Maybe Trumps playing chess. Maybe he's not. You don't know, and If ya voted for the demented guy, I can't take you seriously.

As I have said before, I don't in the end give a damm about "Reds" vs "Blues" in US politics, but I do care about actions and their impacts. Trump/DOGE/whatever just eliminated funding for eleven of the thirteen foreign food aid programs run by the Catholic Church. I care about that. And, yes, a little bit of our dammed budget overinflated spending should go to that.

These eleven programs are very specific. They provide food for schoolchildren --- the administration counts the number of schoolchildren dependent for pre-school food and lunch programs in the tens of thousands. The money buys US farmers' agricultural produce and sends this food to the programs for distribution. ... very "subversive" horrible Non-Christian concept to be stamped out.

America's willingness to provide emergency food to populations with serious life-and-death deficiencies has been, for decades, one of the Pillars of our Charity that made us proud to be citizens of this prosperous country.

On the pragmatic flip side of this ugly story, China is putting over one trillion dollars into these countries in infrastructure build-up. So even vs China this isn't a great political idea.

Lose. Lose.

I found This
All they had to do, was show proof that the money being spent, was going to the people that needed the assistance.
I don't find that hard to believe, or do.
With all of the money we have spent on these programs since the early 2000's, I would think these people would eventually find a way to start farming, and producing their own goods, and food services. I'm not saying they shouldn't receive help. but how long do we help people when they don't help themselves. Unless, the government that is recieving these aide programs are spending 60-70% of the proceeds to enrich themselves.
Everyone's thrilled that we cut foodstamps for the poor here in the states. But, when It comes to crooked government officals that take, and take without any recourse. It's time to stop giving, and start teaching how to fish.

Speaking of farming, my wife and I have been watching Farmer Wants A Wife lately. Each farmer has a stable of 8 women to choose from.

Makes me wish I'd taken up farming.

Amazes me that these departments and agencies felt the need to disregard orders simply because their candidate didn't win.

How do we know if what this administration tells us is accurate when every. single. one of them lies incessantly? Why is it that of the members here who are on the right, only @calvegas04 seems bothered by it? It would be cool to get some genuine feedback rather than changing the subject.
