No they didn't but you just did, didn't you?
Jones is a versatile athlete, he was considered a dual threat, mobile QB. Jones played GT's QB Reggie Ball on the Scout team with good reviews. He's probably the Navy Scout Team QB this week. Not a racial choice a practical one. Frazer, I believe, is considered less a threat to run than Quinn is. Pure dropback QB.
Jones was his team's starting QB until he hurt his shoulder last year. In, I believe a playoff game, his coach played him WR and he did quite well. So he has a track record, however meager it may be, of playing at that position. At 6-3, 200 pounds he has decent size to be a receiver, he has hands, and probably enough foot speed to run with most ND WRs. He's not a blazer like Zbikowski but has the body and toughness to play Safety although ND has more depth there. WR seems more likely if a position change comes about.
At 6-5 226, Frazer has the body that could grow into a TE although I'm not aware of him having played TE or any other offensive position. His footspeed would preclude WR particularly in light of the expected haul at that position. He doesn't appear to be Safety or LB candidate either, does he?.
Got any football comments to add Stalking Eagle, or are you just limited to color commentary?
