Our offense looked nothing like it did all year. No creativity, no counter plays, nothing to keep the defense honest. Looked very vanilla today.

It's really not wide.
It's amazing what other things go Into a football game. It's a bad game by us and we will own It!

We will be back! It's the beginning of fighting two fronts. Most every team plays against 1 front, that one being the team they play. We got beat. Looks like the team gave up a few series ago.
I'll still say If that fumbled punt with a ball pixilated 2 times the size of a normal ball, goes in our favor. We at least make a game of It. We lost.

I get what you’re saying and I appreciate it. I am not a negative poster by any means. Been a fan since the 70’s. But things have to work out perfect for us to win at this level. We aren’t good enough right now to overcome missed calls against these teams. So yes, right now, there is a talent gap. Hopefully we keep stringing together good classes and close it. I will continue to support these great kids.

Just my opinion. Clemson KNEW who they needed out of the game in order to win. They took out our 3 main guys with seemingly unnoticed head injuries.

I'd take 10-3 or 11-2 over this shitshow any year. We should have just lost to Pitt and taken our chances against UCF. We probably could have scored a touchdown against them.

Picked a bad day to have a bad day. I was so wrong that it would be a good day. I think the bad breaks (fair or not) went against us and it all crumbled from there. The margin for error was very small for ND and Clemson was locked in

This team over-achieved all year. You can ask any irish fan if they thought we would go 12-0 and nobody would have said yes. We are very close IMO to being elite, but I am so proud of this team for the great season that they had.

Yeah they dominated up front defensively,... every other aspect of the game was fairly even and they just kept getting the bounces,.... and that was it.

I am starting to see a lot of the comments on ESPN facebook page saying that this was a test for ND so if they go 12-0 again, the committee will think twice before picking them again for the CFP.
