If you have not picked up on this from other sites. Ms. Jacobsen had a little rant during the Mike and Mike Roast. According to some report the show was a bomb and she made things worse. Here is the link

If Golf mag can fire someone for putting a noose on the cover, this no talent ugly hag should be fired! She is a scUM grad to boot!! Roast or not, drunk or not ESPN has to fire her and issue an apology and not to Notre Dame but to everyone.

I really wish there was an alternative to ESPN. How they got to be basically a monopoly is beyond me. What started out has a great idea has become a monster that has some level of control in every sport.

When she heard the word roast, she thought there would be way more food! I mean it is cowardly for me to take shots at her on a message board, but I am so tired of her saying the dumbest crap and stroking Skip Bayless's ego each show. I mean she is for one an Amazon, have you seen her, man...I wish she would sign with us to play nose guard!!

I can't believe Weis attended the roast. Let's hope he has thick skin, b/c he subjected himself to the obvious fat jokes & 3-9,ND sux jokes. BTW, he looks horrible slumped down in that coach...just makes him look fatter. Is that Ditka next to him? I couldn't make the guy out w/ the shaky camera work.

Yeah CW was there and by all accounts he gave a testimonial to Mike and Mike. I was not there but I am offended. I can catholic jokes and jokes about a priest, but the f bomb attached to Jesus name is wrong. ESPN and Jacobson can screw the "I was drunk it was a roast" excuse. Jim the Greek was drunk when he made his comments and he got fired! Imus was attempting to be funny and he got fired. I can tell you one thing, if she would have said that about gays, buddha or a black university or person she would have been fired on the spot.
I wonder if CW had dropped a few F bombs what ESPN and the rest of the media would have done.

You weren't nearly hard enough, this is more like it: One look at her explains why Ditka's d*** is limp. Not even Viagra can fix that. Or maybe he's worked at ESPN too long and d*** limpness is contagous. F this, f that and f the other. How many men has she f'd? Now I know how she got her job. If I want to learn about hand lotion and facial moisturizers, I'll listen to Greenberg and Cowherd. If I want to keep up to date on sports, I'll turn the channel. They are no more sports experts than you or I. The last people I want to listen to are 40-year old chronic masturbaters and bed-wetters.

ESPN should change the employee interview process to include a competency test. If you can't throw a ball, swing a bat, shoot a basketball, etc., then you can't work there. Do you think Greenberg or Cowherd were ever selected when teams were being picked up? ESPN can sooner field the cast for the next Revenge of the Nerds movie than an intramural sports team. Where's Booger? I bet eating smoked meatlog is part of the interview process.

That's what made me sit in silence for a minute or two... I simply thought... MAN!! A portion of the "other side" of the whole Notre Dame "thing" hates us so much that they would literally say "F*** Jesus" just to get under our skin... that's horrible to me and as a Catholic it makes me sad... but even if she isn't religious at all she should have to tact to keep that out of it... even when hammered...

If I recall, isn't ESPN the network that began the ND is racist comments when we fired Ty?? So how can they let a Jewish scUM grad berate Jesus and not do anything? Again take shots at CW and ND all day, the religious commentary was uncalled, whether she was drunk or sober.

Jeff Ross, the "roaster" was interviewed on local radio before the gig. He was asked what he was worried about the most, and his answer was ragging on Weis about his weight.

Man... Just watching that video sober makes all them look stupid. I guess you have to have a few drinks down in order to find that stuff funny. But seriously, Dana Jacobsen... I hope we get to see video to see and hear it in it's context, but on paper (or net) that sounds inexcusable. She may have just leapfrogged Mark May in my book of assholes.

I read some of the comment on that link Notes from the Geetar: Why the Long Face?
A little disturbed about the whole incident. Some of those comments will just grieve anyone who believes in God.

Anywhere when anyone is offended is in general not good. You just wonder what did Jesus do to her to offend her? I absolutely disagree with everything she said. It is offensive to the highest degree. She will deal with what she needs to deal with. I pray a laborer gets to her. I'm just going to chill out on this one for the sake of Good Will.

I repped the ones I agreed with.
