My only concern with Gray is sometimes his footwork gets lazy and thats when gets called for PI. I'm not really overly concerned with him. We've been spoiled at CB1 recently so it makes him seem worse than what he is. Kudos to the coaches for how they've turned around and coached up the cb room.

I wonder what BeatSC said after the Orange and Sugar Bowl wins. “Yeah but oranges and sugar cause diabetes, it’s a shame that ND had to be in these games”
That one is out there. We beat Penn State but I’m willing to admit they looked better than we did. We destroyed Indiana and GA.

Didn’t know it was a hot take. Maybe I’ll just downgrade it to a take. Call it some constructive observations. Feel like I’m in rarified air being part of the greatest of all time!
That pretty much explains it.

You’re missing the point. The point is that every single time, you bring up something negative, even when 95% of a game like today was positive and exciting. Maybe just stop and smell the roses for 1 second. Life is pretty damn short.

Don’t want to start this gray thread up again but he did have two PIs against a pretty awful QB and anemic passing game. They were obvious as well. Stupid roughing play by Hinnish a captain. Things were already awful for the little Cuse QB. He blew a magic moment for Nathan Lane.
KVA out for the season keeps it from being perfect.
While Schmidt was 10/10 many of them would have missed from 30 yards out.
Go touch grass.

Its true though that pretty much all of those PATs looked ordinary off the boot and would have missed from further out.

Would have been Nathan Lane’s most magic moment since The Birdcage.

I got hammered after the first quarter and started making candles with the wife…did ND manage to pull off the win?

Just kidding. Most insane beat down I’ve ever seen by an ND team.

Was cool seeing a bunch of ND players show Angeli some love post game. That’s what it’s all about at the end of the day.

That pic of Beck is also old. Looks like he's wearing a Georgia tie.

Yeah there’s some point where if he gets turned around at all, he turns into Urkel & then desperately reaches out to hold the runner b/c he knows he’s beaten.

ISD's photographer put up his gallery of pics from the game. I like this one a lot with the clearly off normal trajectory ball still in the frame. The color contrasts just give it so much pop.

All the goodness today was obvious. I would think the coaches would focus on improving the 5%. I do have a problem wanting ND perfection. I literally wanted our offense to get the ball and our D kept scoring and undermining them! How’s that take? Twisted I know. Really bummed out about KVA but not critical of the coaches for keeping him in.
