Watch how easy it is to be consistent.

I believe parents are the best people to make the healthcare decisions for their children and the state shouldn't be involved.

In other words no I wouldnt.
Without context it’s fun to say. But being trans is a fairytale like being a dinosaur. Doctors shouldn’t make kids into dinosaurs or trans based on parent medical choices.
What's your thoughts on Ericka calling her hubby a grifter this weekend?
My first thought is you have issues to even ask. Obviously she misspoke but I’m sure you and your dark web furries had a fun time beating off to this.

It's a fairytale like your religion is.

Furries are weird, surely we can both agree upon that.

You can say she misspoke all she want but she confirmed what anyone with critical thinking skills knows. Her hubby was a grifter and she let everyone else know

You calling my religion a fairytale but admitting yours is isn’t doing anything for your argument. You are just agreeing being trans is a fairytale.

Pretending to be an animal is the same as you pretending to be you.

Be an adult and expand on your claim. What more do I want? You said it, now back it up
We have the same rights. The fact you are bitching about wanting anything else is more. How about we save time and just admit you want more.

I've never made the claim that I want more, that was you. So go ahead and tell me what the more I want is.

This is the kind of intellectual conversation I expected from someone with a degree from a place like Liberty.

Backup your claim.

And trans people don't have the same rights. Blocking medical procedures deemed safe because someone is trans is a prime example.

I thought you were a fan of small government?

You just agreed we all have the same rights. Im fine. Glad we had this conversion.

“ draft up a list of rights trans people have under sharia law if you'll do the same for rights trans people have under MAGA”

I guess you are retracting this question? I

Why would I retract that? And when did I agree we have the same rights?

At the end of the day we aren’t going to agree on anything unless it’s about ND football.

Everything trans, I disagree. There. That makes it easier.

I’m a bigot because I think being a trans person is an imaginary made up thing? I mean I apologize you are not going to be validated but you just slammed my religion and keep poking at the fact that someone I personally knew was shot and killed live streamed. You can hate all the things I represent and you don’t have to be apologetic for it… but you calling me bigot seems to be your Trump card and you think this puts you in some moral high ground. From everything you have said I honestly think you need a therapist more than you need to be on Irish Envy. I think it sucks people actually validate you… even on a college football message board. This is a place where dudes bullshit about sports and politics and you get treated like a special needs kid because you claim to be confused trans person.

Your a bigot because you believe being trans is a disqualifying event for receiving proper medical care. I think your a bigot because you've stated only white Christians should be allowed to come here and somehow brown Christians are deemed less than. I have a therapist but I appreciate your concerns. The world isn't black and white. There's nuance to things and your refusal to acknowledge nuance and hide behind your religion to justify that makes you a bigot. You saying I'm being treated like a special needs kid makes you a bigot. You not following the teachings of Christ to be disrespectful towards people makes you a bigot. Your friend actively was trying to dox and get friends of mine fired from their job for simply for being trans. I think I have the moral high ground because I treat everyone with respect until they've proven they don't deserve it. I'm not confused I know exactly who I am, and what I am. I'm not sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.

You're a bigot because you support this kind of messaging. Messaging that puts my lives and lives of others at risk. Just own dude. I own who I am. Own who you are.

I think we disagree on what’s proper. If you think you are suppressed for even walking into a hospital or doctor, you are wrong.

Huh? I have no problem saying multiculturalism has either failed or will inevitably fail where it has not yet failed. Less than? Eh, we just have different values and beliefs.
I have a therapist but I appreciate your concerns.
My concern is for humanity and truth.

There is a lot of black and white… just like male and female. Some things aren’t hard or nuanced at all.
You saying I'm being treated like a special needs kid makes you a bigot.
It makes those that treat you like one a bigot. I treat you like any other man that’s confused. They don’t.
You not following the teachings of Christ to be disrespectful towards people makes you a bigot.
Christ taught truth. God commands his followers to preach truth. You should thank me for being so honest with you. Love is not affirming stupid behaviors. Love is giving truth. Am I giving you truth in love? Eh, I’m not perfect.
Your friend actively was trying to dox and get friends of mine fired from their job for simply for being trans.
And he got shot in the neck for it… seems like you applaud with your constant obsession with him and his wife.
I think I have the moral high ground because I treat everyone with respect until they've proven they don't deserve it.
So you are the arbiter of respect and who deserves it. Very Christ like… but then again you failed every Bible test on this forum.
I'm not confused I know exactly who I am, and what I am. I'm not sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.
Which is why you see a therapist… 😂

I don't completely disagree with you by any means, but there are lots of things we don't leave up to the parents because all of them can't be counted on to make good decisions that are in the long-term best interests of the child. We don't let parents decide when their minor child can drive, drink, smoke, and in cases of just choice, not for direct medical reasons, be sterilized. A child's views and wants and ideas of what they are or want to be will typically change dramatically over the years, and to make major irreparable changes to their body via surgery or puberty blockers before being old enough to fully understand the consequences is dangerous and to be avoided even if the parents are OK with it (or sadly, pushing it for their own reasons).

We don't let kids make major decisions in most cases because they don't have the experience, wisdom, or grasp of consequences to do so with anything approaching "good choices" so to speak. They're also VERY susceptible to manipulation by adults, especially parents. Parents deciding to allow their minor child to have trans surgeries or take puberty blockers for non-medical reasons is VERY prone to being more about the parents' needs than the child's, and thus the government's role in prohibiting it. I'm generally for smaller government and them being less intrusive into our private life, but I'm also for them protecting children against bad parents too. I just don't believe any kid should be doing something this permanent before they're old enough to fully understand the consequences, even if the parents are OK with it.

That's why I've continually called for more regulation around this topic than outright banning and criminalizing it. Ive said numerous times I don't believe surgery should be available for those under the age of 18. Surgery is the only part of this that is irreversible. Let science and the medical community do more research and better understand the topic. Let parents make the best decisions for their children and regulate the surgical side of it.

Common sense rules the day. Just like I told him, it’s fun to say but I don’t even think he believes this unless he’s trying to win an argument.

We don’t let get them tattoos or engage in many behaviors… but hormone therapy… yeah no big deal. 😂 Common sense out the window.

They only make good choices when it’s a gay choice… according to our resident LGBTQ expert.

It’s a dead topic. We should investigate ways to make kids dinosaurs too… because… you know… science.

You let them get married. We let them choose to enlist in the military, let them take out thousands of dollars of debts. You just want this.

Statistically speaking there are WAY more kids looking to be dinosaurs than opposite gender. Damn near 100% if you get them at the right time.

This entire retarded conversation is so timely when we are all re-upping health insurance. No wonder I pay $30k/year for all the mental health and unnecessary surgeries required to be covered to pander. Meanwhile, real quality of life interventions like hearing aids, eye and dental are not covered. Perverted priorities (pun intended).

I would be interested in a breakdown of the cost of all these discretionary interventions.
