I figured I'd speak at your reading comprehension level so you could fully understand.

I said using gender neutral language is easy. We all use it everyday of our lives.

I'm not interested in using gender neutral language. It's not based on reality. If you want to use it, that's your right. Stop suggesting I have any obligation to.

Have I ever once said you have to use my pronouns and not misgender me? Not a single time
You personally? Not that I know of. I was speaking about the LGBQT community as a whole. It's common for them to demand the rest of us address them by their preferred pronouns. I'm not going to. I'm not going to deny objective reality to humor someone's delusional demands.

Gender neutral language is based in reality, it's taught at any half way decent school and every language has it.

You've said you know one other trans person, your niece or nephew. Do they force you to use their preferred pronouns? Because if the answer is no, you can't point to one specific person you know personally, either me or them (see how easy that is to use when I don't know the person's gender) that demands you use preferred pronouns

How about you do you and leave the rest of us out of it? We aren't interested in adopting your ideas or you language or any of the rest of it. If you don't want to be bothered, don't bother us with any of it. Have your circus. Stop trying to force us to buy a ticket to it.

I'm not forcing you to do shit. I'd prefer if I was left to do me, but that's happening under Trump

Way to avoid the rest of conversation because you've been proven wrong

They are a civil rights attorney. Just like you are a moron. Pretty easy to use gender neutral language if you want to
Moron? nice comeback. He said “she is a civil rights attorney” and she quickly interjected “they” which when you swap they for she comes to “They is a civil rights attorney”.

I get your situation, but you need to relax a little bit on the pronouns. People aren’t going to change because you get upset or insist upon it.

I was just correcting your grammar. You were so close to getting it right. Again I've never once said or corrected anyone on pronouns. You thought you were being clever but you just were using incorrect grammar. Using they for someone is pretty common.

I'm going to assume you're posting this in good faith. And I agree with it. The last tweet on this tweet thread sums it up perfectly. It's why I get pissed in here when this shit gets brought up. I've had conversations with damn near everyone over in dms and everyone has said that while you don't get the trans thing or support that you all still respect me. Well it's hard to feel that way when people go out out of their way to be disrespectful.

If this is real, those teachers need to be fired as well.

Couple things. This is from 2021. Kinda strange to be bringing this up randomly. I'm guess your feed just served this to you for some reason?

The headline says children to make you think these are little kids. It's inappropriate either way but for the record it was given to high school seniors.

It appears to me that this was just a mistake a teacher made in not vetting a book given to their students in an english class. The students were given journals that had 642 different prompts in them as creative writing exercises. You can buy the book on Amazon and it appears pretty innocuous. The teacher should have looked at it more closely and realized there were adult prompts mixed in.

The headline makes it seem like the teacher was specifically giving them sexual topics to write about, which isn't accurate.

We're like a step away from Irish#1 posting about the central park 5 "Pretty gross, I agree with Trump".

As I said, "If this is real". At least Gattaca provided some context.

But hey, you keep doing Toronto. It's what we come to expect.

Do you ever think critically when you see something like this? Do you think couching "if this is real" in the post makes it less laughable?

Schools. I'm not sure If It falls under culture, but the topic does.

If only we could turn these teachers into illegal aliens, and send them to el salvador. Or, at least reopen insane asylums. The frontal lobe needs more research.

There’s no need to show them butt plugs, vibrators, etc. kids are smart. They’ll figure it out.
