I think pronouns are idiotic. I find them to be cringe and ridiculous. Especially when dealing with people who you have never met before and have no connection to. I have numerous trans friends who I refer to as their preferred pronouns, but they are in my orbit and I am used to it as I know them and it's hard wired into my memory. Getting offsides with someone who you have never met in a social setting about your pronouns is retarded.

That being said...I'd rather be dealing with THAT issue and having THAT discussion than watching the stock market(and my portfolios, 401k, 529 et al) tank, having trade policy being written by ChatGPT, tariffing penguins, illegally deporting people, pissing off the entire world including long standing allies, gutting social security, medicaid, medicare, dealing with measles outbreaks and anti-vaxxers as the head of HHS, having state secrets sent via group chat to reporters, having the press' 1st Amendment rights threatened, having billionaires get richer on pump and dump schemes, having aircraft falling out of the sky, gutting USAID organizations, having Congress attempt to restrict voting access...and..I think that covers the first few months so far?

Here's some uncomfortable facts for you that won't ever change. Gay and transgender people have existed a lot longer than this country and we're never going away no matter how uncomfortable it makes you or whose in charge.

That's great. Cool. Has nothing to do with my point and doesn't change anything I said: you're entitled to believe whatever you want. You're NOT entitled to demand that the rest of us believe it or play along with your delusions. If you want to pretend you're a woman, or a 4-year-old boy, or Batman, or an alligator, or a pine tree, that's your right. Just stop demanding the rest of us cheer you on, validate your delusion, play along, or treat you as if any of it is real. You have whatever circus makes you happy. Stop insisting the rest of us buy a ticket to it.

Nobody is asking you to do shit. You're inventing these make believe victim scenarios where some super scary gay or trans person pops out and demands you to use their preferred pronoun. The horror!

I said using gender neutral language is easy. We all use it everyday of our lives.
