Traffic is up about 60% since we fixed the site.

No one really knows. Definitely missed. Was the greatest of posters, but for some reason it bothered him that we pooled our money to buy the site. Either we were going to buy it, or the Texas guys who owned it were going to auction it off to a rando. Odds were strong that if that happened it would get shut down at some point in the future. Regardless, it's probably rooted in some misconception, but he peaced out.

Both kids are out of daycare because we traveled out of state to visit family in TN. Neither kid is sick, we came across no one with a known sickness or symptoms in any way. Were there for 3 days.

Yep, children have a 99.98% survival rate but yet we still have these ridiculous restrictions for them…….it’s like the bureaucracy just can’t get out of their own way. It’s time to do what should have been done since the beginning and focus on protecting the vulnerable (the elderly, the overweight/obese and the immunocompromised) but allow the non-vulnerable to resume life.

This, absolutely. I'm all for high risk individuals protecting themselves, but young healthy kids shouldn't have the jab forced on them. It should always be a choice for anyone really, even if you're high risk. I'd feel differently given more time and if it was a true vaccine that provided immunity. For now we've got some pockets of healthy athletes dropping with heart conditions following vaccination and that's a scary thought. I may still get mine in the future if a next wave of variants ends up deadly, but Omicron wasn't shit for me so if the course remains similar I would be fine waiting a shot out till I'm closer to 50.

I'm still a little ticked they had my 98 year old grandmother locked up basically for almost 2 years during all this only so she could pass away alone. They let us see her only twice during this whole thing, she spent her remaining years virtually isolated...couldn't even have bridge games with her friends which was one of her few remaining joys. They didn't lift restrictions even after the assisted living populated was all vaccinated, just ridiculous.

At that time I had asked you all about the purchase out of mere curiosity and he gave me a ton (maybe all) of his vBucks as well. We had a funny exchange over it because I had no idea how to use them.

I'm glad you guys stepped up and took control, it really was for the best. I know I was pretty vocal like many about the need for a change in the administration. We were running on life support for so long with no one on the ownership side engaged. We'd be beggin' ol' Phammer to get in touch with them anytime the site would go down, and it would often take awhile for the ownership to get it fixed. This new site is such an improvement over where we were a year ago!

At work, we can go to the cafe/cafeteria, stand in line, get food from 4 different vendors/stations (no masks). We can stand in line to pay, had our CC to the nice lunch lady and sit as a group at the tables. WE CANNOT get a fountain soda however because of (sign on the machine) Covid.
