What he was trying to explain is that publicly traded companies are legally obligated to put profits for share holders over everything else. Private corporations could be just as shady but they aren’t legally obligated to be that way.

Private entities have much more freedom to be "shadier" than a publicly traded entity. If you're privately held, there's less exposure to financial regulators. Additionally, PE firms moving into healthcare are MUCH more profit driven than say Pfizer. It someone took Pfizer private then yeah it would be end times.

Those were 2 of the bigs things that I actually agreed with conservatives about and I don’t hear almost any of them standing up and condemning these actions.
