I assume it's a TV spot to promote the title game.
We were told they were going to show the commercial
during the title game. Here's the full email:
"Want to be a part of the most watched cable broadcast in history? That’s right – over 30 million viewers. The University is producing its 30-second institutional message to air during the BCS National Championship Game.
And it will feature you.
Professional crews, along with staff from the University Communications department, will be videotaping this Friday, December 7. The spot calls for multiple shots of students congregating at Notre Dame Stadium.
We’re asking students to arrive at the Rockne Gate of the stadium at 4:00 p.m. on Friday (December 7). This is the gate with the entrance to the tunnel that’s directly across from the library. The first 600 students will be allowed in the stadium, where they will play a crucial role in communicating the message of the spot. We anticipate the videotaping to be complete by 5:30 p.m.
While only 600 will be a part of the filming inside the stadium, the remaining students who arrive may be featured in exterior shots outside the stadium.
This is your chance to show your enthusiasm for your university and the #1 football team in the land! It's time to tell the world, "Here come the Irish!""
