Enough with the wings and burgers. Pho on Lane Ave has a Pad Thai so good and so big it could kill a horse. I always went to the Piada across the street and made fun of the place (it's in an old Taco Bell, so it looks quite out of place) until a hipster buddy was with me and informed me that it is actually the best kept secret for Asian food near campus. He was right. One shrimp pad thai and a crab rangoon and your afternoon is over. Food coma time.

How do you guys feel about Wings Over?

Wings Over is the place on Lane Ave right? Maize and Blue colors if its the place I am remember right. It was ok. Nothing that would put it over BW3s in my opinion.

Went to Spagio tonight for the first time. Def worth checking out for the 614 members

Spagio is delicious.

For wings, I think winking lizard has some of the best wings in the city. Wing night every Monday and Tuesday I believe.

Some other local spots to check out Betty's, surly girl saloon, press grill, dirty franks hot dog palace, local cantina Jenny's ice cream. Many more but that's a start..

Nancy's on High St in Clintonville is a great breakfast spot.

Tommy's Diner is another great spot.

Damn, I forgot about winking, too. Don't think I've had their wings but the rest of their menu is good. They used to have a different 32 ounce beer on special every night of the week. I think they have something like 120 beers available too if you're in to trying different beers from all over the world.

I went there for kegs and eggs on St Patrick's day one year and had 16 car bombs. Good times.

So Roosters is pretty good. Their boneless wings are way bigger than BWWs, but I think BWWs still has the best sauces.

The lady is visiting April 17-21st. If anyone knows of anything fun going on around that time, hollar. Was going to go to a play, but I see 'The Adams Family' is the only one around that time and it ends April 13th.

Accurate statement is accurate. I still prefer Roosters, given the choice between the two. BDubs puts on too much sauce for my taste anyway, I always have to tell them to go light on it. I like their dumpster fries too, and although theres nothing fancy about them or different, I often get their fried mushrooms or potato skins as appetizers.

As far as Columbus events, don't get up there much anymore to say anything interesting going on at the time. Not sure when OSU's Spring Game is, but it's usually packed rain or shine and it's a cheap event.

if you wanna do something fun with the lady...head over to the nationwide strip and hang out...there's a cool piano bar over there....i think it's called "the big bang bar"

pretty good time and good spots to grab a bite before.

I have heard that Columbus Gold Gentleman's Club is an entertaining place to take your lady. Haven't been there myself...

Vanity is more classy. If you're looking for a meal, try Kahoot's for the lunch buffet.

My favorite thing to do with my gf when I'm back home is to visit the hocking hills and Old Man's Cave. Gorgeous area, easy hiking, beautiful waterfalls.

Agreed. I went to OU for undergrad and the area surrounding Athens is gorgeous. Worth the quick drive down. Stop in Athens and have a beer while you're down there with the college kids :D

Has anyone ever rented at or heard anything about 'The Farms' and 'The Charleston' apartment complexes?

I'm going to sign up for one of these on Friday I think. They're technically in Columbus, but actually closer to Hilliard/Dublin, and like a mile from where I work.

Pretty nice, but amazing amenities (5000 square foot fitness center, 2 pools, movie theater, onsite bar and they serve drinks by the pool in summer, lol).

Thing is, reviews for both of these places are all < 50%. I don't get it, because I've been to both of them and they're really nice and the current tenants interacted really well with the staff.

I would stay away. Considering your addiction to half clothed men, thats begging for some sort of charges and put on a bad registration list.

Anyone from the Columbus area going to the ND spring game? I'm on the fence about going and if anyone would like to carpool that might seal the deal for me.

Arena is where all the Bars are. Its by Nationwide Arena (where the Blue Jackets play)

Also home to the world famous Rodizio Grill.

I've never been to Rodizio, but Brasa(in Cleveland) is basically the same deal, and it absolutely ROCKS! Death by meat; what a way to go.

Thanks for the tip. I will check that place out when the lady visits. I've been looking for a good, local restraunt (aka, not a franchise) to take her too.
