Common Man + the Torg was very entertaining because they didn't filter anything they said.

Lol. no. Its the most out of control sports radio show in the country. You will get to see the osu culture. They are hilarious, but you have never experienced bias until you listen to them.

Torg got fired because he tweeted at Desmond Howard and told him to die lol. But you can expect this on a daily basis, then a ton of buckeye bias. You will understand after 1 show lol.

When I was in the car traveling from WI to OH, I had my radio on 'scan' pretty much the entire trip because I didn't know any stations and once I found a decent one, it'd go out of tune. I came across a Wolverine radio station and the host of the show wasn't too bad and I didn't mind him, but the fans that would call in were horrible. Really dumb but I did love how they all hated Hoke lol.

I will definitely check it out.

Be fine? She's probably celebrating time from me, lol. I think everything will be fine. She's really busy with student teaching, teaching dance after that, and in two plays this semester, and I'm going to be really busy. I'm lucky to be in a relationship where fidelity isn't a concern (knock on wood, lol).

Maybe you can be a consultant to NDs staff and teach them the tricks of commitment lol

Lol no kidding. IDK how college coaches do it. I'm just a fan with no skin in the game, and I can't handle recruiting and how some athletes go about it. I can't imagine how frustrating it is when your career is dependent upon it. I don't blame any coach for heading for the NFL if it's because they don't enjoy recruiting.

A buddy of mine, that is a stand-up comedian, will be performing at the student union on campus at OSU Saturday 2/8. Go check him out if you don't have anything going on.

Brian Million. 3rd floor of student union 8:00 PM on Saturday 2/8.

Hey Kunja, how are things going since the move for ya?

I don't think I will make it, but I will see if my roommates interested. If I go, will provide feedback!

Really good so far, thanks for asking. Work team is very competent and friendly. My only complaint would be that everyone is 30+ and most are married with children, but that's to be expected (nothing against 30+'s, in fact my best friend is 30, but it'd be nice if there were some people in their 20s). My team works on the top floor of a large building (No, I'm not an executive, lol), and we're the only ones there. It's like a ghost town right now, because there's a second company building 2 miles away, and everyone from the 2nd building is moving to our building in March, so it'll be nice to see more people.

Columbus is great. Very affordable, traffic is non-existent and I have about a 20 minute commute, so that's great. I apparently live in 'Clintonville', whatever that means.

Checked out 'The Funny Bone' comedy club and went out until about 1am one night, but that's been the extent of my social life, lol.

Guy roommate is really cool, girl is kind of dramatic, but oh well.

Haven't had time to check out too many restraints yet, but I'm excited to do so. Not even kidding, besides fast food places and Buffalo Wild Wings, I haven't seen a franchised restaurant that I had back in WI, so that's exciting (nothing against WI food, it's great. But like to try new restaurants).

BTW - If anyone is traveling from Dublin/Columbus/Ohio anywhere really to the ND/Michigan game this year, I would love to carpool. Depending on how large your party, you'd likely have to drive because I currently have a really small car. But I would over compensate you in gas money, and of course, you would get my opinions on all things ND related, lol! It might just be me, or me and my GF.

PS, Columbusers, I've heard of something on N. High St. called 'The Beach' during summer time. Sounds like the land of milk and honey. Are the rumors true? Lol.

So what your saying is you are excited to visit some of the 'toy' stores.

not sure what "the beach" is that you are referring to, but take a stroll through the oval and south oval on OSU campus when the weather is nice. Actually, that might be what "the beach" is referring to.

It's apparently where girls sun tan, but it's like 'the' place to do so so it's loaded with talent, lol.

Saw a few things in here I agree with. Kroger is definitely one of the best places to grocery shop. It's usually the cheapest, superwalmart is probably cheaper (dunno if any in Columbus area) but those places are to damn big. I dunno how people eat at BW3's anymore. Roosters is definitely better, Frickers is similar to roosters again not sure if any in Columbus area. I can't believe people actually lift at Planet Fitness. I think it's geared more towards women and girly men. I went in there just to check it out and walked out shaking my head. Price is fine and all but it's a joke. Some of their rules make me laugh. Anyways, I live in Dayton which isn't far from Columbus, the Hollywood Casino up there isn't to bad, if you are into gambling, I prefer the Horseshoe in Cincinnati but that's a little far for you. Enjoy Ohio, it's a shitty state.

I've been going to Giant Eagle. I'm new to both stores, but at GE, everytime you spend $50 on groceries, you get $.20 off per gallon of gas. I paid $2.86 per gallon the other day, no lie.

I'm excited to give Rooster's a shot, but come one. Even if Rooster's is better, BWWs is still amazing!

It definitely is. But I use the treadmill at least 2 times a week, so I like it. If you want to lift, don't go between the hours of 10am and 8pm, lol. Not a lot to work with. But for $10 per month and 24/7 access, you really can't beat it.

Just vbucks like a complete degenerate, lol.

I go to giant eagle over Kroger as well, but I'm pretty sure it's $.10/$50 spent. You can get $.10 on gas for every $50 spent on gift cards too. They have a pretty solid array of gc's, so if you are planning on doing any other shopping check there for gc's first. I have a friend that is a carpenter and buys all of the material he can from home depot using gift cards from giant eagle. He very rarely has to pay anything for gas.

Rooster's is definitely better than BW's at least for wings. Don't really get anything else even I go there so I can compare them otherwise. There aren't rooster's up here but there are fricker's. They are essentially the same restaurant and are owned by two brothers.

I'm certain it was $.20, because the guy told me that, and their gas price was $3.06 that day and I paid $2.86. Maybe I got an extra $.10 since I was a first time member?

Have you spent $100 there?

I've actually never heard of Giant Eagle...
Kroger definitely does fuel points as well.
BW3's is ass compared to some of the other places around here, I won't even eat there anymore.

No, I had to pack on some extras just to make sure I was over $50, and I think my total was ~ $55. But I'm certain I received the $.20 off. If that's unusual, it must be a first time user perk.

Yeah there could be a first time user thing. This may be a dumb question, but have you only been there one time?

Roosters > bw3's. I'm also a big fan if Raisin Canes Glad you made the move. I think you'll be happy with your decision after you've been here a while and experienced more of it.

1. Roosters
2. Roadhouse Wings and Grille.
3. Hoggy's
4. Buffalo Wings and Rings
5. BW3s

Is my top 5 in Columbus for wings.

You need to try the Thurman Burger from The Thurman Cafe. About 15mins from Clintonville.

Good call on Thurman Cafe. Really good burgers but the place is pretty small and you can wait up to an hour around lunch time for a table.

Another place that I forgot about until TP mentioned Thurman's is Schmidt's Sausage Haus in the German Village, just south of downtown. All you can eat buffet with several different sausages (brats, knockwurst, bahama mamas) and a bunch of good sides called the Autobahn. It was featured on Man vs Food along with Thurman's.

Enough with the wings and burgers. Pho on Lane Ave has a Pad Thai so good and so big it could kill a horse. I always went to the Piada across the street and made fun of the place (it's in an old Taco Bell, so it looks quite out of place) until a hipster buddy was with me and informed me that it is actually the best kept secret for Asian food near campus. He was right. One shrimp pad thai and a crab rangoon and your afternoon is over. Food coma time.

How do you guys feel about Wings Over?
