Kroger is the 5th largest retail chain...on our planet. Not just the U.S.
Even a modest appreciation of the world outside of what is directly in front of us allows us to know more about the world.
I've lived in a large city before (Milwaukee for a year), but they don't have any of these stores and my hometown definitely doesn't have them. I'm sure I've been exposed to some businesses/companies/stores that you guys haven't that would seem bizarre to me too.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
Qdoba and Planet Fitness maybe - but Kroger? They are in the top 25 largest fortune 500 companies in the world. They are second only to WalMart(You have heard of them right?) in retail sales in the US. That one truly surprised me.
Honestly, who gives a flying fuck about Kroger.
I wanna know about the ladies your dog is attracting.
Pics or you lying
The only reason I know Kroger is because I worked for Ralph's and Food4Less... both owned by Kroger... I didn't know Kroger had a chain in it's own name. I know Planet Fitness and have never heard of Qdoba in my life.
IDK where you are going with this or why you guys are jumping down my throat because I've never heard of a grocery store before.
You realize that I've never lived near one, right? And that makes me ignorant? Lol. This is dumber than when I was called a non-ND fan because I didn't know Terry Hanratty.
There is no throat jumping. I was surprised that you hadn't heard of those places as they are pretty large chains across the Midwest. It was surprising to me.
Now, there are some more local places that if you had mentioned them it wouldn't surprise me at all and I would tell you whether you should darken their doors or not.

I am guessing most out here, just outside of LA, don't even know what Kroger ir, or at very least that it has it's own chain. I know Planet Fitness and have never heard of Qdoba in my life, though someone compared it to Chipotle so I'm assuming that's a good thing.
I instantly thought of Fry's and Piggly Wiggly as well... two stores I only know because I have been through the respective regions...
how about Texas with H.E.B.s??
Eh, grocery stores are one of those things that if you don't live in the area, there's no reason you would normally hear about them. They don't advertise in markets they don't have locations, I imagine. I had never heard of Harris Teeter until I moved down to Nashville. Same with Piggly Wiggly, or Fry's when I lived out in Arizona.
This doesn't apply to some store called Wegmans, because people from the northeast won't shut up about that place.
Sorry if I missed it, but where are you going to be living?
Check out the Anderson's general store when you are ready to explore a little more. Sawmill and 161. Their"House of Meats" is the best place to go for grilling needs.
Sorry if I missed it, but where are you going to be living?
