For who? Penn State could do a lot worse and at this point appear they likely will. That seems rather disappointing.

DeBoer isn’t leaving irrespective of the Iron Bowl outcome.
Riley - who cares? I don’t think he’s a winner wherever he’s coaching.
I think Lane is in a no win situation and that’s ironic given the amount of money being tossed around. It’s LSU or stay at Ole Miss IMO. I am betting he bolts for Red Stick because he believes he can win a natty there.

Yeah. I suspect Riley would love an easier road than USC. But Florida ain’t that. If Texas Tech were to open, maybe.
Sure. But their other best option was coaching at Holy Cross the year before last. For Penn State. That seems like a failure in the recruiting world.
All things are possible I guess. But Byrne knows this isn’t the year to lose a coach, a couple of coordinators, and your best recruiter. DeBoer only leaves if he wants to… and he just doesn’t strike me as that type of coach. Miss the playoffs this year… the seat gets hot next year for sure. Guess we will see how it all shakes out in the coming weeks.I think there is a chance DeBoer bolts for Penn State.
Other than that I agree with you.

Eh, their boards have been saying that since the day after they fired BK. He could end up there for sure but I take LSU and UF "insiders" with tablespoons of salt from now on after this ordeal.I should have been more specific. My bad. The LSU board says it’s done
I think USC, and even Penn St would be easier routes for DeBoer for sure. Still, I just don’t see him jumping off at this point. There were runote of deboer wanting usc if lincoln jumps
There's a strong contingent of UF fans for which this is not a joke. I get the vibe from some of them they would rather be a 9-3/10-2 type team with a pretty offense than ever win like Kirby Smart at UGA. Being reared on the Fun 'N Gun broke their brains. They just compiling a list of offensive minded coaches who wear visors?
Where would LR go? He’s clearly scared of competition or any place with high expectations. That leaves out the SEC or Big 10. Some big 12 school? Has Oklahoma State hired anyone?
If he’s looking to get back out west and have an easier path then maybe so. If that’s the challenge he is truly looking for then he isn’t what Bama needs.DeBoer would probably bounce in an heartbeat at an open USC vacancy.

True. But if DeBoer walks then I wish him well. I like DeBoer and think he can have success at Bama but if he isn’t up for the challenge then bye.Nick Saban ain’t walking through that door
Sumrall and Florida have come to contract terms but nothing is signed yet. Guessing he’s probably waiting to see what Lane does as well and would prefer LSU to Florida
Oh don't be so dramatic, look at what happened the last time UF hired a G5 coach from a school in Louisiana...I think you need more experience at Florida then Sumrall.
When does this end? If every other Big Ten college wants to show their coach, either New or existing, how much they value him by making him the next highest paid coach, where does this go? Everyone’s just gonna continually one up the next. The money has to come from somewhere. Same with paying these recruits $10 million. It’s just insane. It going to get to the point where the only people that can go to football games are wealthy people and that’s just not right. I know this doesn’t sound very American, but there has to be caps put in place with serious consequences for backdoor shady breaking. It’s just a flipping sport.

What job is this in reference to?
googled tyler donohue and it said penn stateWhat job is this in reference to?
That'd be an interesting move for Riley. It's a good job, but he doesn't really feel like the sort who'd play well in the northeast. The expectations are probably higher than USC's at this point. And what about that killer Big Ten travel???googled tyler donohue and it said penn state
All the PSU people I know (who are admittedly delusional) say DeBoer remains their top target.DeBoer isn’t leaving irrespective of the Iron Bowl outcome.
