I think it is hard to get motivated once ND has 2 losses. I wasn't that into this game. I think the players may be similar. Alt might think about sitting the rest of the season. Very good ND career.
Hartman should suggest starting whoever is the best out of Minchey and Angeli.
We really missed Evans and might have managed a win with him playing. Maybe.
Watts got yet another pick. That was good.
I thought Morrison played well.
The WR development is bad. If there is a big time WR coach available for next season we have to consider them.
The ups and downs this year have pretty much been the ND standard that started under Kelly. No major difference

Love Chansi but dude would be on thin ice this year and next if I was HC. Need to see progress

Hopefully the hockey team don't shit the bed like this next Saturday...that'd be a long drive home

As much as this sucks to high heaven, it could be worse.

Fickell and Wisconsin lost to Indiana.

Ludwig’s buyout is the highest in the PAC-12. So, none of those schools think their OC’s are worth that either. And, most of them have better OC’s than we do.

A 2.5M buyout is not a requirement for making a good OC hire. It only is if we have a HC that doesn’t know that.

Can we somehow hire David Shaw in the off season as a consultant to weigh in re: building out the O and getting right OC hire? He’d only an NFL analyst these days.

i like him too. i do have some concern about all but one of our wrs being able to read a defense and be on the same page as the qb. we look like a high school offense that just runs vanilla routes. this probably goes higher than stuckey.

Doesn’t help that the WR corps is fairly green or new to the position. I do believe this group will be a real strength as they develop. Hopefully we don’t have any other gaping positional holes by then.

If Freeman is your guy then surround him with good experienced coaches. No excuse having Parker as the OC that couldn’t even make it a full season at West Virginia in the same position. Parker was never it.

they are green, but talented. it's frustrating. looks to me like there wasn't a lot of reps with hartman over the summer.

Thoughts.
1. Parker needs to be let go of back to just TE’s
2. Faison needs to be starting he has shown the most speed and separation out of any WR.
3. We need 1 OL transfer, 2 WR’s, 1 QB, 1 DE, and 2 safeties
