UF coach Will Muschamp announced Friday that Martin, who is from Aurora, Colo., intends to transfer from the program.

“Chris and his family have indicated that it might be the best for him to be closer to home,” Muschamp said Friday. “We wish him nothing but the best of luck.”

Good news for the Buffs?

I remember him transferring there for his senior year....but he's actually from Oakland and transferred from Cal so that he could escape some problems that were "close to home".

Hope the kid figures it out. Glad that he didn't come here now. He was my #1 top recruit to get/keep.

Yeah, BIG problems. I'm surprised he hasn't transferred to Albuquerque so he could play for Mary Shannon's program.

Who would take him at this point?

I'm thinking... a program that likes talent over... morality... close to... home.

*#@$. He's going to be a condom, isn't he?

without knowing the full details of why he is leaving (again), but my guess is he is finding that he has to put in work in order to be good. he has got by his whole life by natural ability, now he is with players who are all naturally good too. In order for him to stand out from the herd, he has to put in the work. Well, I dont think dude wants to put in the work. he wants it handed it to him. When he doesnt get what he wants, or things get a little tough for him, he bolts for the next situation.

we should just wait around for a couple of days, i know his mother will soon admonish him thru some kind of social media outlet for all of us to read.

Best part? His physical twin (Aaron Lynch) is going to be a star, and show Martin what might have been if he just worked hard and made no excuses.

Wow...multiple highschools in California, Colorado and New Jersey, then a ND commit, then decommits, goes to Cal, transfers to Florida and now transfers to Colorado.

Is that right?

Unfortunately, if this young man continues this pattern of not seeing things through to the end, it is probably going to retard his development his whole life. The grass isn't always greener, Chris. Stick it out and fight through the adversity.

The military would be a great option for Chris at this point.

No knock on IrishSteelhead but I just can't help but chuckle when seeing some things we all write on here... We can't predict the future.

I hope Martin ends up at Kansas and does well.

Same for Lynch, hope he figures it all out.

“That’s not bad,” he said. “I’m actually pretty lucky. I feel like I’ve been to eight colleges already and I’d still have two years left.”

I couldn't but help note the fukkin irony in his statement.
