Just checking in...

Has Robert's dinger re-entered the atmosphere yet? Hopefully emergency services have a crew ready when it lands because it will need to be extinguished immediately or it will burn down the other half of NoCal.

487 Feet.. Insane.

Fire Coop.
Fire Renteria.
This has been going on ever since he's taken over.
Can't throw a goddamn strike to save their lives.
2 outs and zero men on, turns into bases loaded and 2 runs scored.

This game is over.

Also fire the Umps, because apparently they decided the Sox and A's have two very different strike zones.

I'm so done with this garbage. 12 years of waiting, we deserve better than all this.

I'm perfectly sane right now.

This team can only go as far as its lame management will take it. This team has the potential to be a consistent WS contender for years, but not with RR's miserable management of the lineup and pitching.

It's not just this game, but those two have completely mismanaged the f*ck out of games for years now, and especially over the past few weeks where the Sox went from hottest team in the league to coldest. Ricky couldn't keep this team grounded when it mattered most and it cost them.

I'm not f*cking around. There's way too much at stake and the Sox need somebody at the helm that knows what he's doing. Ricky is a good clubhouse guy, but every game is an opportunity to show how abysmal of an in-game manager he truly is.

I agree man. Renteria needs his head examined. Just hassling you.

It's all good. It's just frustrating, because this team was doing so well and then everything fell apart in the final few weeks and it culminated in two very winnable games turned to losses because of a lack of competent starting pitching behind Gio and Keutchel, and Renteria's miserable managing of his pen and bench.

Can't have this moving forward, because it's hard to break out of a slump when your manager doesn't know what he's doing.

Priority number one this offseason offer Trevor Bauer what he wants, go sign Hendricks to pitch in the bullpen, go out or trade for the best RF you can get. Let Rodon go, either promote Vaughn to DH or offer Nelson Cruz a one year deal

Bro we aren't the Yankees.

Priority 1 is upgrading our coaching. Renteria and coop are nice guys but you can't waste this talent on them.

Priority 2 is a pitcher and I agree with you on Bauer. Not sure it's possible but I'd love to go after him. If kopech doesn't get his feelings hurt before the season we may be having a different conversation in this thread right now. Maybe he's our 1A. Bauer would be a hell of an addition.

Engel played his dick off, hit close to 300, was great in the field and was one of the few guys playing well down the stretch. If he can produce like this he's more than fine in RF.

Bullpen help is welcome but we're young and played well this year. I think they'll try to resign colome. I wouldn't be oppressed to Hendricks though.

Wow. I agree with all of it. That is if you mean the A's Hendriks, not the Cubs' Hendricks.

See ya Rodon & Encarnacion.

Bauer has to know if he signs with the Sox, he's gonna win rings.

If only they'd have followed precedent and picked up Madden last year.

Yes A's Hendriks sorry they mentioned during the game he was a free agent he would be a nice Vet arm to have in the bullpen. If you resign Colome him and Hendriks could be your 8th and 9th guy. I honestly would love for them to go after Marcell Ozuna who will be a free agent and having a monster year for Atlanta. Will be an interesting offseason there's no reason why players shouldn't want to come play for this team as long as they are willing to open up their pockets.

I have been very skeptical of this coaching staff since this team got interesting.

I don't know how a pitching coach survives that many managers and for a club that hadn't been to the playoffs in 12 years at that.

They need to make some changes if they want to realize the potential of this club. This team will be playing games in October for years to come with the proper leadership.

Will Teflon Don survive yet again?

Sandy Alomar Jr for me because doing the right thing is hiring Hinch & Cora who know how to win a WS with a total rebuild squad. But I don't have the chest for it because they are unforgivable cheaters and well, I just don't wanna have to defend the 2-3 WS trophies until I die.

He will not, Cooper also gone, as he should have been 10 years ago.

Sounds like the big names on the managerial search are Alex Cora and AJ Hinch.

I mean...I like big names, but I also feel unclean taking those big names given what we know about them now.

I'm not big in to baseball, but I root for the Sox. Don't you think if they hire Cora or Hinch, everybody will be watching with a magnifying glass so they have to be on their best behavior? Maybe I'm just hopeful?

With Hinch, he was only guilty of knowing the sign stealing was taking place and not doing enough to stop it. He did however, try to sabotage the attempts by his own players on several occasions. Really bizarre occurrence.

Cora on the other hand, was directly involved, which lends me to believe that the Sox are more likely to hire Hinch than Cora.
