Been waiting for it forever.. Hopefully he does well to earn that 5th spot going forward. Also, how about how hot TA is playing right now.. Fire

Dunning looked great before he hit a wall.

Completely different team with TA in the lineup.

Him and Mize each with 7 strikeouts in debut set a record.. Also, I know Ricky wanted him to get the win, but you also have to protect his arm and not over pitch him right now when you could obviously see his velocity went down. That curve/Slider is nasty. Can't wait to see him after a full spring camp to get that arm ready

I was impressed with both of the youngsters last night. I think both managers left them in for one inning too long and it showed, they were finally getting rocked a bit.

Agree that Dunning had a wicked slider, and he was placing them well. Mize was working that nice splitter too. Going to see these two for years to come.

CLE and CHW exposed my Tigs. This is what we all thought they were coming into the season, but you should never lose 8 straight. Yikes.

Dunning's curveball was awesome. Didn't see that initially from Giolito, Lopez and Cease when they first came up. This guy was using the hammer and using it well. Good to see.

Looked this up and Caldelario has 9 HR vs the White Sox, more than any team he has ever faced. By far. I believe the Cubs traded him to the Tigers for a reliever. Being in the same division, I know the sample size will be more, but he seems to do well versus Chicago compared to the rest of that division.

Mr. Moncada has been a joy to watch. 3-1 and he laid off a breaking pitch that just missed the corner. 3-2 count, slaps one to right for an RBI. Just awesome to see how far he's come.

I saw one White Sox writer suggest the sox should trade Cease, First Round Pick Kelly, Micah Adolfo and Collins for Lance Lynn from Texas I'm sorry but I wouldn't trade Cease with 5 years of control straight up for Lynn.

Don't let anyone downplay this because of the lineup he faced. He did this on 101 pitches with 13K.

He had 66 pitches through six innings.

Dominant.

Ya Phil Rogers, and he is an absolute moron. This is the kind of hall you give up for DeGrom not Lynn.

29 swings and misses too, second to Nolan Ryans 30.. He was electric last night. Good for him.

1/2 game back of first in the Central.

It's kind of weird seeing the AL Central being the best division in baseball right now. It's usually close to the opposite, which makes the White Sox long stint of mediocrity all the more infuriating.

The White Sox traded international money to the Pirates for a 36 yr old OF that has a career .317 OBP but steals bases when he manages to actually get on base. Kudos for Ben Cherington for getting something in return even if it is money. Mr. Hahn seems to throw that international pool money around like it's candy.

Very impressed with their power bats in recent weeks. If starting pitching can hold out and they hit more with RISP they could wind up being a major force down the stretch.

And they signed Yolmer Sanchez to a minor league deal.

Hahn said today they won't be looking for short term rentals or anything to mess up this core they have. So, the trade for pinch runner and defensive player.. i'd love to see how much international pool money.

Yes. And their TV announcers are two of the best.
The way Stone pony turned over the mic to Jason to close out gio's no hitter was brilliant. Love listening to them.

I like Stoney, I do not like Benetti.. Just way too over animated.

I mean he's no Hawk, but I like Benetti.

You're right. He's better.

Such a fun team to watch right now. Stiever looked good after he settled down. Great command. Abreu and Anderson making a case for MVP. Team brings the lumber and they're never out of a game, especially once they tap into the bullpen.

18-2 vs Detroit and KC, while Cleveland and Minnesota have floundered against both so far this season. That's a playoff team recipe. Pound on the weak teams and stay around 500 against the good ones, you're in.

Yes, professionally Bennetti is better than Hawk. But man give me Hawk's excitement for the Sox, for this year any day of the week.

The team is exciting enough on their own.

The less I have to mute my TV, the better. (Tony Dungy > Flutie)

The kid they just drafted was throwing 93 MPH changeups last night, flicking 86 MPH sliders for fun. I was actually laughing out loud.
