He's in camp but they are still actively trying to trade him. Lot of characters in that bullpen. Now give me a RF, if not put Vaughn over there, gotta make sure he gets his ABs.Looking more likely they'll keep Kimbrel too
Yeah, I don't see how he's staying. Not when they just signed Kelly now too. He's in camp but they are still actively trying to trade him. Lot of characters in that bullpen. Now give me a RF, if not put Vaughn over there, gotta make sure he gets his ABs.
Not worth it to give up Vaughn in my opinion![]()
I disagree, especially if you’re going to sign Conforto or think you can play Sheets in RF and platoon him with Engel and insert Leury for late innings. Not worth it to give up Vaughn in my opinion
Not to mention, big Sean is a Sycamore! Always have pulled for him as fellow alum of the Normal School down in Terredise. All the A's pitchers!
Manaea's from Wanatah in NW Indiana. Bring em home!
Montas was with the Sox early on. He had a real nice season last year.

What else are they supposed to say publicly other than this?![]()
Craig Kimbrel will be with the Chicago White Sox in 2022
Craig Kimbrel's initial stint with the Chicago White Sox did not go very well for him. In spite of trade rumors, it appears he will get another chance.southsideshowdown.com
Jerry is 86. I don’t wish ill on anyone, but him no longer being the controlling owner of the franchise would be in the best interest of winning.Jerry needs to sell the team, he is all talk about wanting to win now bla bla. I get they have the 7thest highest payroll, it would be 10th if they got rid of Kimbrel but they need go for it now. You got other teams like the Mets, Dodgers, Padres making moves left and right.
Agree 100% NOT SURE WHO WOULD BUY THE TEAM BUT HOPEFULLY A GUY LIKE MARK CUBANJerry is 86. I don’t wish ill on anyone, but him no longer being the controlling owner of the franchise would be in the best interest of winning.
And what's crazy about that is he's brought 6 NBA Championships and 1 World Series to the city. The most by a long shot when compared to the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears.Jerry has been, and continues to be, the absolute worst.
Tell me one really good thing Rick Hahn has done. Hahn is riding the coattails of a lot of things Kenny did and a lot of what the scouting department has done in the Caribbean. Hahn can have some indirect credit for that, I suppose.I mean, this team's time is now. The chairman is 86, the manager is 77. They are a RF and 2B away from building on last year's team from Division Champ to World Champ.
Reinsdorf, as I understand it, spends most of his time in Arizona and isn't really part of day to day ops with the White Sox. This seems to fall on the front office. They should be going all in right now and they appear to be standing pat. Most of their farm system has now graduated to the 40 man roster, so free agency or bold trades are the way.
I like the Harrison signing. I think he's fine at second base and fits in with this team. They should be going all out for Conforto in RF.
I'm not carrying water for Rick Hahn. I'm asking, in fact, why he isn't doing more right now to make last year's team better.Tell me one really good thing Rick Hahn has done. I wasn’t very clear, I’m definitely agreeing with you that a lot of the blame for the Sox recent status lies as much on the shoulders of the FO, and not 100% on Jerry. However, I think it’s pretty widely known that Jose, Luis, and Eloy were all guys that Kenny personally scouted and touted after the GM reins were turned over to Rick a decade ago. Kenny and Rick both leave a lot to be desired in terms of their free agent signings and trades.I'm not carrying water for Rick Hahn. I am little confused, however, that you're giving Kenny Williams any kind of credit for what we're seeing now. He had zero business being a general manager and there was practically zero sustained success from their 2005 World Series. They were a flash in the pan after 2006.
