City can’t even keep their team. Bush league franchise. Pleasant Prairie WI has a nice little plot of land right over the border. May as give Wi two teams if u want a Super Bowl.

Ohhh they’re moving to the suburbs to build a a new stadium like 98% of the NFL.

Wouldn’t even be a Green Bay Packers without the charity of the Chicago Bears.

One of the best coaches in football lololol. Matt Lafluer is
Too bad Lafluer can’t hold a lead, or find a kicker, or get an offensive line, or get a running back who isn’t arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, or something about the refs, or isn’t a softy or doesn’t back down.

Rumors have suggested that the Bears are on the market for trades before the deadline.

Niners got Buckner from the Colts today. Niners are also supposed to be looking to make moves.

Most sites seem to think reunion with Mack
It needs to be a minimal capital trade. Like maybe a 4th-5th rounder for him straight up.

Mack isn't the level of player he was when the Bears dealt him for a 2nd and a 6th in 2022.

I think he can be a quality rotational edge rusher, but at 35, going on 36, the Bears should not spend anything close to what they got for him when he was 31.

Feel like they need more help inside on d-line than outside.

But, I have no idea who is attainable (don’t think Simmons is) and who fits Allen’s scheme ( quick gap shooting tackles).

Simmons would work, but he is 29 and signed through 2030. His cap hit for 2026 is over $6M.

Ojomo is IDL and in the final year of his rookie deal with the Eagles. He's only 25. That would be worth kicking the tires on.

Tuli Tuipulotu would be worth looking at if he's willing to sign an extension. He's 24 and they need an edge rusher.

There probably isn't a world where they can get Ojomo and Tuipulotu, but if they wanted to go all in, that's certainly two bold moves to make.

Bears get: DT Jeffery Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick

Titans get: A 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick

It is a lot of draft capital, but the guy is a stud DT and they are going all in now, which is a gamble. If they win a Super Bowl it will be worth it.

Titans obviously do well for themselves as their teardown commences.

Frees up money for an extension for Williams too not having any first rounders I suppose. Granted Simmons commands some of that money.

The Bears are going all in for the championship
in the NFL where you can go from top to bottom and vice versa in a year or so, this is clearly becoming the trend for GMs to swing for the fences.

Fuck them picks!
Yes. In this current version of the NFL, GMs are looking at draft picks as having less value. Especially if they can contend now.

It's go time. This is not Khalil Mack, this is not Matt Nagy, this is not Mitch Trubisky. This coach, this quarterback, this moment.

Simmons has been double teamed this year over 100 times and has 10 pressures with 3 sacks. As a DT. He doesn't need to get settled in, he doesn't need to learn the system. Get him a helmet and pads. Then have him go wreck things.

But we still want Khalil Mack, right?
