Changes for NCAA 13

New helmet color in teambuilder doesnt even remotely resemble the real thing...and I'm not suprised. Also they made a really lazy attempt at Oregon's Rose Bowl helmets. My only hope is that the helmets look more like the real thing in the game than it does on teambuilder. Apparently anything metallic colored isn't on the color wheel at EA.

I agree and when they add the light reflecting off the helmets in the game it really looks great but I'm not optimistic for the new gold color nor the Oregon helmet. I honestly believe its beyond EA's skill level to replicate that look onto NCAA 13.

Considering every other company has done metallic colours wonderfully...let's call it laziness. Just give the Gran Turismo team a call....they will tell you how to do metallic colours.

It's not like they have any major developing to do...they change a few miniscule things every year and rerelease the same game. Same goes for the 75 man rosters. They claim it's disc space...that is BS. It takes up literally like 10MBs of space.

When team builder came out peps went nuts over the lack of new unis... b/c EA said they would be in the game or added as dlc when they were dropped in real life... of course no one bought it due to EA's horrid track record with this stuff...

but, I found this...

Looks like they will indeed have dlc nd updated unis... At least that's what EA told Miss St. here... scroll down to the bottom...

It was mentioned in one of the 4 NCAA 13 threads by Buster

Take out the Wildcat formations and add spread with TE-flexed out Spread formations and Arkansas State's playbook is AMAZING for ND.

Passing plays are pretty good but the runs are the best I've seen. Realistic complex runs with good jet sweeps & bubble screens

A buddy heard a pod cast where the producers stated the uniform updates will be up on the uniform store by next weekend... Mizzou and Askansas' (among others) unis will be free, though it sounds like the new Arkansas uni may have a problem as they stated the version Au gave to them for the game is different than the one they showed at the press conference... that sucks b/c I LOVE the white helmets... prob my fav of any new helmet.

They also stated the new Nebraska and ND unis WILL be included but you will have to purchase them.

Now if they'd only do something about the roster size. It's just absolutely insane that it's not accurate. I can't even wrap my head around it. And they make the same mistake every year. GOD.
