No, I’m hoping to play LSU and to beat them. Your prognosticating skills are lacking.

I get the wanting to beat Kelly but you need to move on. He's focusing on winning the SEC and making the playoff.

I'd rather play a more beatable opponent. Maybe UT without Hooker.

And you don’t think the narrative of that game would be ya they won but tenn didn’t have hooker so

Georgia would pummel USC. Just like they did to your previous favorite unstoppable team Tennessee

27-13 at Georgia is a good double digit victory not a pummeling. Would they hold USC to 13 points on a neutral field? Maybe. Maybe not. USC looks like a team that bringing 40.

Georgia called the dogs (literally) off because of the rain. It was a pummeling. They could have named their score.

I think USC gets in and I think they can win it all by just outscoring everybody.
..... they have to get by the Irish first. I believe Mason needs to keep on keeping on... and Golden/Mickens need to seriously 'tighten' up'....

You’re extrapolating way too much based off SC beating up on a terrible UCLA defense. Their offensive line is soft.

This says more about you than me or Notre Dame. Since we are openly prognosticating, ND is going to beat USC, and Kelly is going to lose the SEC championship, which puts ND/LSU on a similar trajectory. And you know, it would be an excellent opportunity for the players on our team to have a shot against a coach who openly said he came to LSU to coach the best players. If you think ND and the fanbase won’t get up for a game like that... You already have us losing to USC before the contest. Smh.

That's fair. We've also played them twice in bowls recently. I just want another team.

I don’t want any excuses. They meet this year and ND wins and there’s still way too much “BK only had 39 scholarship players!” And “ND still has all of BKs roster!” narrative floating around. I want 2-3 more years of his stench away from the program and MFMF crootin fingerprints before revisiting this one.

That is so true. They would have dropped 40-50 on UT if not for the rain. They drilled UT.

If USC and LSU lose today or next week, does Ohio State backdoor their way into being the sacrificial lamb for Georgia in the semi-final?

Way I see it:
Michigan and Georgia are in regardless of what happens vs. Purdue and LSU.
USC and TCU are win and in situations, but I think TCU has an avenue should they lose. USC is out though with a loss.
Ohio State needs USC to lose. Potentially could get in over TCU if they lose, but that may be a toss-up. I don't see them getting in over Georgia and definitely not Michigan.
LSU is out regardless of what happens vs. Georgia. You can't lose 3 games and expect to get in.

Would love to see the top 4 all lose this weekend. The chaos that would ensue would be interesting to put it mildly.

What’s the closest we’ve ever had to a complete chaos final weekend? One day we will get one, where all four top teams lose.

The crappy thing is, let's say the top four all lose this weekend. What changes? Georgia's still Georgia. Michigan still decleated Ohio State just now they have the same record. TCU has as compelling a case as any other one-loss team. Maybe Bama jumps USC?

Conference title games remain a scam.

Is anyone else sickened by this extremely weak top four? When ND made it, they play generationally talented teams. Michigan might get to play an atrocious TCU. This would be, by far, the weakest top four I have ever seen.
Aside from Georgia (and I'm not even sure about them), nobody is particularly great this year. Four or five solid teams, but none of them are outstanding.
