I've always been interested to see what would happen with a triple option attack if you had elite players on both sides of the ball.
For example, if you had Braxton Miller or Denard Robinson or Mike Vick at QB and a Dallas Cowboys OL with Todd Gurley/Leonard Fournette/etc. as a primary runner. And then on the other side of the ball, you have an Alabama defense of a couple years that refuses to give up more than 21 points in a game.
I feel like the potential for explosive plays coupled with the dominant defense would be almost unbeatable in college football... but I also don't think any of those types of players would want to go play for a triple option style team. In the NFL, it clearly would never work because team speed on defense would be too good and it'd be unlikely to have a defense truly good enough to keep opponent's score down because of parity/the draft. Plus the risk of injury to your QB.
Can't be much more stacked than GT. Tons of 4th and 5th year starters for GT. Good scheme, not great. Will never win a NC
