See you guys in the Music City Bowl game!!Is that really a question, we were in it last year!!! Tax Slayer baby!
I personally would never want ND to lose and would take great joy in beating BK. I just don't see it happening, terrible matchup in my opinion.....and that's even with JD sitting. LSU can score and score quick, ND could be down 28 before GP decides to stop running it on 3rd and 7.I’m under the impression that some people here would want LSU to win if we play them in a bowl, because being right (but upset) is more important than being wrong (but happy) to their feelz.

Irish can't 'afford' that.... need to have paid that at the beginning of the season.Well we need to see growth from our coordinator, that would afford him another opportunity to see what he’s got. Not just some cupcake.
Whether certain players decide to play or opt out is besides the point. Since the inception of the CFB Playoff, bowl games (outside of the CFB Playoff games and a few others) have largely been rendered meaningless. This is one of the few games/matchups that would have some oomph to it. It's an easy sell, and I'd think that both fanbases (and coaches/teams) would likely be more excited and amped to play in this one as opposed to playing other teams.
Tennessee is not a blue blood (nor is LSU)Notre Dame vs. Tennessee would be a good game. Both are two storied, blue blood programs. Tennessee’s got a pretty strong defense and running game, but Milton and their offense is pretty pedestrian, overall. I’ll take Notre Dame’s defense and running game in that one.
don't tell stpeteirsh this.... he's a prick about posts on bowl prediction threads and member's input

Top 10 in 1-A winning percentage since 1869. Seems pretty good to me.Tennessee is not a blue blood (nor is LSU)
I would argue with a straight face Texas is not a blue blood.
ND, Bama, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, end of list IMO,

Nebraska is going down the same path as Minnesota, they won't be considered a "blue blood" soon if they don't figure it out quick. The topic is pretty subjective for the most part. You could argue that Michigan and Texas are pretty similar, overall. You could also argue that Nebraska doesn't belong, or is hanging on by a thread. I'd plug in Texas and would be okay with that list.
