We're paying for the ass kicking a shitty Michigan team gave us and rightfully so

Yup, this season will ND will forever wear the scUM loss as a scarlet letter. But the beatdown scUM took at the hands of Wisky is all but forgotten. But I’m sure the response is that Meatchicken was able to point to a signature win in dominating fashion over ND. So the media & the voters continue to have it both ways. ND sucks when looking at who they beat but they’re a signature win for any of their opponents.

Do the NY6 bowls get any discretion in who they take for at-large spots, or does it have to be highest-ranked team?

Granted, Penn State and Florida both travel well, and we were in the Cotton last year. But could see a scenario where, given the choice, they might pick us over Penn State.

True. But I’m not sure we’d be any better off if we lost by 3. We’d still have a loss to a team in front of us that lost to two of the other teams in front of us. And we still wouldn’t be in the SEC.

That OU v Bama Sugar Bowl idea would be a good story.

I saw Gator Bowl reps on the sideline near me yesterday. I still say the ACC sucks and we should take their spot.

There was a story yesterday on the CBS website that said the Orange has to take the highest ranked available team (B10 SEC or ND). Didn't mention the Cotton.

Florida has basically the mirror record/resume that ND does. They played Georgia close, they have one win against a decent opponent (Auburn), and the rest were mediocre, at best. I feel like ND should be right where Florida is, I'm confident that ND would beat Florida on a neutral field, and I honestly think the margin would be 10-13 points.

amazingly thru eleven games both ND and UF have outscored their opponents by 200 points. And they're ranked 8th and we're 15th. Go figure.

I don't think they will put the Irish in NY6 even if they dominate the trees.
Seems like an easy path to 11 wins. Whatever, I'll take it.

Michigan 27 OSU 24.

I would normally disagree but I can see this happening.

not so fast my friend....

I think the closer than expected game against PSU would/should have woken OSU a bit... Tough game to call. Should be fun to watch.

OSU 27-20

I'd probably bet my house that Ohio State murders Michigan, idk what the opening line is, but give me Ohio State up to probably 13.5

Outside of Chase Young, I just am not that impressed with OSU's front 7. Their DBs are elite and so is Young so obviously that's enough talent, but no one else stands out to me and Michigan will bring their everything ans they're capable of playing exceptional (don't we know).

I can see them frustrating Fields too. His two turnovers Saturday doesn't give me confidence in him on the road against a great defense.

Fields will be the 1st or 2nd pick in 2021, Dobbins is a 1st/2nd round guy this year, 3rd at the latest, they have 3 players on D that are 1st rounders, with Chase Young and Okudah projected as Top 10 picks. That teams jacked man.

I know they have a load of NFL talent and that does typically win the games. But not all of them, and Michigan has their fair share of NFL talent and they're rolling right now.

OSU is loaded at DB, Offense, and Chase Young. I think Michigan can run on them enough, and they have 3 NFL WRs as well.

It's a limb, but I think Michigan gets it done. I don't think Fields has a great game.

They had one exceptional and multiple meh games. They are not that good...we just played like shit. OSU won’t play anything like we did.

It's not only that we played bad (we did). They also played extremely well. And have since.

We're a damn good team and Michigan dominated us. It's going to be a really good game IMO.

Maybe not but they struggled with inferior teams the first half of the season. Michigan has looked like a different team since halftime of the Penn State game. I hate the fuckers but I'll give them that. And I think at home they give Ohio State a handful.

OSU 27-20

After the game, OSU's coach said the season had been too easy up to the PSU game. Got up big against PSU and took their foot off the gas a little mentally. When PSU came back OSU cranked it up again and finished them off. OSU will remember that heading to Ann Arbor.

Meyer said OSU has about 20 kids on the roster that will play in the NFL.

Of course they do, but much like recruiting, it doesn't matter how many you're putting in, but where you're putting them in. They have probably 10-12 guys on the roster that will go in the 1st/2nd rounds alone, we might have 3-4 if we are lucky, but we will probably still put 10-15 in the league.

tOSU not completing housing PSU will keep the Nittany Lions above ND in this week’s CFP poll. That will end any chance at the Orange Bowl which was a long shot to begin with.

Camping World Bowl vs four loss ISU. I thought Okie St was a candidate, too but haven’t seen the analysis.

I don't wanna play either one of those teams, Brock Purdy is an NFL QB, and Chuba Hubbard is one of the best young RBs in the country, even with Tylan Wallace down for the year they'd be a tough matchup. Don't get me wrong, I think we win both matchups, but they aren't pushovers.

We shouldn’t want a pushover for a bowl game.

I think OSU deserves their ranking and Michigan deserves theirs. OSU has been consistently impressive all year and Michigan looked awful early in the season. That being said, Michigan has looked much, much better in the second half of the season, including destroying ND.

I've got OSU winning this game by a couple of scores (37 - 27), but it wouldn't shock me if Michigan pulled off an upset. It's a bunch of college kids playing in a rivalry game after a long, tough season. Anything can happen, and that's why we all love college football.
