My fav athlete ever... (Though he was very stoppable in Tecmo Bowl don't kid yourself...lol) and pretty dang class, which makes it better... I am named after Hank Aaron so the hammer is up there, but Bo is my all time guy...

Anyone else watching?

Yup, I'm watching (I put it on pause for a few minutes). What a stud he was...

Yessir. He was before my time by a tad, I had no idea he went straight to the Royals BEFORE football. Amazing.

I love 30for30.

Absolutely agree ACamp. I'm watching it with a friend who is a sports fan, but was unaware of Bo and his Herculean athletic abilities. He's said, "wow" about five times already.

Bo was definitely my first favorite athlete. I was really little and barely remember him, so seeing all of this is bringing back some of my earliest memories. Bo and I share a birthday. One of my favorite 30 for 30s, and I've seen all of them.

Saw him at Angels Stadium hit a ball 1,300,587,654 feet in the bottom of the eighth to beat the Orioles in 93ish... Funny how the HR is clearer than the one year he played for my halos...

After the game he also saved 463 people from a high rise fire in south Anaheim... I saw it.

Hard to believe the "you don't know diddly" campaign was 20 plus years ago... Time flies once your childhood ends...

He was not the best Tecmo Bowl player ever... Kevin Mack would beat you every time... And they just touched on it... ONE PLAY.... Still the best athlete though

Think ill hit up the wii tonight and play some Tecmo...

When George Brett is talking about you in terms of " he's not human" you know you're other level

Not a huge fan of throwing out the 'sick' term...but this guy was SICK! Freak of nature, unreal! Who is the closest comparable athlete to Bo Jackson since Bo Jackson?

Bo was better at both... And that's no knock at Prime... But Bo didnt need names like prime either...

Yeah I don't have enough info on either to make an informed argument, but he was the only successful two sport-er I could think of.

I will defer to the older and wiser minds here.

Amazing story though, really glad I watched it. Top five for sure. My favorite is still The Best That Never Was... But I have yet to see One Night In Vegas.

That Raider-Seahawk game when he ran over Bosworth, WOW what a moment! The show was right, that was the end of Bosworth and he was bad man.

He belongs in the football hall of fame. 4 years - 2,800 yards and never rushed for 1,000 in a season. But he only played 11 games a year. Gayle Sayers played 7 years and rushed for just under 5,000 yards. Both careers were ended early from injury.

From 1987 to 1990 (those 4 years) Bo Jackson was the best football player, period. He should be recognized. And I'd like for the baseball hall of fame to figure out how to recognize him (but he isn't a hall of famer in baseball).

Reading these comments, these two sports need ensure that what he achieved is never forgotten. He was the best athlete we are likely to see.

I feel the biggest travesty is we will never see another athlete try 2 sports again.
