Lax, thanks for doing all the updates. Looking at all of the guys we're recruiting, in the aggregate, suggests to me that we are not screwing around this year. If things break in our favor, this could be an epic class. We're off to a good start. Tee and Decker are even more highly rated than I had anticipated.

Yeah, and it's just crazy that we have realistic (not 'good'... but realistic) shots at so many premier guys. For instance, of the top 5 overall recruits in the nation three of them (Keith Marshall, DGB, and Andrus Peat) have some legitimate interest in ND. DGB because of the family connection and Peat/Marshall are coming for the Blue & Gold game.

On top of that, a brief look at the top 100 players shows 43 with "interest" in Notre Dame... sometimes this is part of a list of 10, other times it's part of a list of 3 or 5... but it shows that our coaches are casting a wide net and likely going to wrangle in a very large number of top prospects.

One last interesting note.... Zeke Pike is listed as a 5* QB and has a family connection to BK... has offers from USC to Michigan to Alabama to basically every school in the country... except Notre Dame. Very odd. Makes you wonder in BK knows something that others don't.

I haven't. But I'm pretty sure BK has. It is a nice feeling to trust that the people making the decisions on this kind of stuff are beyond competent. I have complete trust in what BK and his staff are doing. You can't always say that about your team.

We need to get him on campus. Im ok with him coming on late because he will be making a ton of visits. Hopefully he is saving his favs for last and just making sure other schools don't come into the picture he wasn't expecting necessarily.

No.... hence why I said "for instance, of the top 5 overall recruits in the nation." Kiel is #17, Darby is #47, etc. Both are top 5 at their position bu not national top 5. Moving on...
