I was holding off on the subject...but not anymore.

Kelly needs to reaffirm his position with ND by the end of the day or ND should fire him.

I know that this seems drastic, but the impact that it has on this team, recruits, his coaches, is an important consideration moving forward. The impact on recruiting is already evident. I am also sure it will have an impact moving forward to signing day and will be used against him on the road.

It is also a disservice to the University to have an individual who is ready to bolt for another job. ND should not be stepping stone for someone to go somewhere else. We need to hire a man for the job who views this as the end all, be all of jobs and is 100% committed to the University of Notre Dame.

I don't think that's why BK came to ND. BK came to ND because it was an upgrade from Cincy. He is a climber as others have said. We just don't know what the top rung of the ladder is for him and it's possible that ND isn't it.

FWIW I hope he stays. I think he will. If he doesn't, we'll move on.

Kelly is scheduled for a possible 2nd interview this weekend with the Eagles. **** is getting hectic.

Nothing to see here, just a tactic.

Some services are crediting the NC loss as the reason AA went with Florida. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the Gators get their *** handed to them too? I think the BK situation is the factor. Get ready for another wild ride Irish fans. Epic.....again.

Yes losing to Louisville by 20+ is worse than losing to Bama by 20+.

Jug the best I can tell is that more than half of Philly doesn't want him. At all! I am sort of shocked but not really. The statement at halftime about Bama not showing back up may have been somewhat of a sign of things to come.

I was pretty down in the dumps at halftime, what was the context, what was said exactly?

When asked about how he would deal with Bama after halftime, BK said maybe they won't show back up. I thought it was sort of cute at the time but not a good thing to say if you're planning on a rally. Or at least attempt to come up with a cliche.

After interviewing Kelly on Tuesday the Eagles interviewed Lovie Smith today. Eagles may not be that optimistic about getting BK and BK's interest.

The only thing I'm mad at BK for doing is interviewing now and not after the EE's come to class. That of course, assuming his interview was solely to be used as a leverage tool for locking up contracts at ND. If h.'s actually considering the Eagles, then I suppose he doesn't care about the EE's/

Honestly, if BK clears this up quick and AA is all we lose... I don't really have much of problem with this.

AA was always shakey, I would have loved to have had him, but he certiainly didn't fill me with confidence.

I really can't blame Coach for looking at the Eagles. Big time organization, big money, first time you got that kind of courting... I get it. Just come back soon and right the ship before this gets crazy.

I don't think that's any indication of BK's interest. These NFL teams are professional about the way they do things. They will bring in multiple candidates to interview for the job.

Eh it is what it is. Honestly nd is in a position now that they can get almost any coach they want outside of the big schools such as bama, Ohio st, Florida etc. so if he doesn't leave it's not like we would get stick with another willingham/ davie/ weis
