Just because Philly is desperate doesn't mean Kelly can coach at the next level. Saban-4, Kelly-0.
Kelly pull a Saban-Miami stunt doesn't guarantee him a sweet gig back at CFB. Kelly hasn't proven he can coach at the highest level in college yet - see last Monday if you're confused. (not directed at you, SoIll - just picking up on the Saban comment)

Make Diaco Assistant (nearly Co) head coach. Get him one or two years learning directly from Lou, then pass him the program.

I am not sure if this has been talked about, but there the possibility that his agent told him to take the interviews to try to reach a better deal at ND. That said if he truly believes that ND is the best job for him, why not stir the pot and try to get a multi years and very lucrative contract extension with ND. I can't see Kelly leaving before he wins a National Championship. That is just an opinion.
P.S.: Let's not freak out just yet...
