lol........After the ruckus with Trump having documents, what choices did Biden and Pence have but to turn them over asap? No, it wasn't on the level of Trump, but they shouldn't have had them in the first place.
Why do you just assume that they would intentionally keep them like Trump?

Trump is the outlier here. Not Biden and Pence.

There are standard procedures because it’s a fairly common occurrence. If you find documents after your time in office you report it and return them to the proper authorities. Not only did he not do that, they weren’t just documents that where found to be in a filling cabinet somewhere like the others. He was flaunting them and showing them to people that didn’t have the proper clearances to see them.

I didn't assume they would intentionally keep them. I'm just saying that when they were trying to get the documents back from Trump that both Pence and Biden saw what was going on and had someone look through their stuff to see what they had and return it asap. Better to do that then have a warrant issued. So once again, what other options did they have?

Trump is the outlier, 100%. I said before that if Trump had simply returned them when he was told to, this would have been a nothing burger, but Trump has to be Trump and try to prove he's the biggest swinging dick around.

There never would have been warrants because A) they weren’t flaunting their documents to random people to show off so no one would have ever known they even had them B) if it was found out that they had them they would have returned them after it was requested.

Trump didn’t want to return them because he knew he fucked up showing them to people he shouldn’t have.

Good thing it isn’t as high as you said it would be a year ago, huh? But I’ll say the same thing this year as I say every year. Presidents don’t control gas prices. You want lower gas prices? Buy a Prius.

So Joe didn't control the gas prices when he was releasing millions of barrels of our SPR to try and reduce gas prices?

The community note on that tweet...

"Not according to Archer and his own attorney. The letter seeks for Archer to set a date to begin his jail sentence, on an unrelated, prior conviction, which Archer has been delaying. This admin request is *not* expected to have any impact on his schedule Monday. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/07/30/devon-archer-hunter-biden-testimony-00108902 "
At least youre willing to acknowledge Archer is a real person and real evidence…

But in all seriousness. Why send the letter now? Odd timing don’t your think?

In a statement to Politico on Sunday, Archer’s own attorney stringently denied any link between the meeting and the timing of the Justice Department letter, and said that his client was still planning to testify before the committee.

“We are aware of speculation that the Department of Justice’s weekend request to have Mr. Archer report to prison is an attempt by the Biden administration to intimidate him in advance of his meeting with the House Oversight Committee,” lawyer Matthew Schwartz said.

“To be clear, Mr. Archer does not agree with that speculation,” he continued. “In any case, Mr. Archer will do what he has planned to do all along, which is to show up on Monday and to honestly answer the questions that are put to him by the Congressional investigators.”

I have no problem questioning the timing. A good move to put out statement denying any feelings toward the letter. Who wants to battle with the DOJ…

Not everyone has to battle with the DOJ. Some people have consistent support by slow-walking investigations and bypassing any curiosity at blatant signs of corruption.

It looks like the Devon Archer testimony elevated the situation from Joe never talking business with Hunter to, well, Joe wasn't in business with Hunter to now being at, OK- they were at dinner, and Hunter got paid, but Joe only talked about the weather, and it would be really weird if Joe didn't talk, right?
