It's to the point where they can't let him walk around in a room or on stage by himself without an embarrassing moment, can't let him talk unscripted, can't do a solo presser, and according to the news yesterday, he can no longer work past 2 pm most days. Really got us a winner in the Oval Office, don't we.

The scandal about the former acting director of the CIA getting 50 colleagues to sign a false statement that the intelligence community viewed the Hunter Biden laptop story as a Russian disinformation campaign is heating up. I just can't imagine why people distrust the government. Aren't officials supposed to lie and use their influence and the good name of their office to cover up for each other?

Politician lied! OMG! What other response could he have to this particular issue? In his defense, his senility makes it not really lying.

I am more upset with the 50 intel agents who bore false witness in defense of the lie and the media who are complicit.

Really feel sorry for this guy and am very disappointed in all of those around him who keep propping him up instead of acknowledging it needs to be someone else in that position.

And that's exactly the problem. It's not Joe's fault that he has dementia and can't be left alone near a microphone. It's 100% the fault of those who are playing Weekend At Bernie's with him for political purposes. OTOH, who wants Kamala to take over? She's a disaster in her own way and not really any better.

“For a couple years, we’d been noticing these deviations in the investigative process. And I just couldn’t, you know, fathom that DOJ might be acting unethically on this,” he added.

Holy cow! That should be grounds for immediate dismissal from your job as FBI Director. Who does Wray think he's accountable to if not Congress? You don't get to tell Congress they can't see your paperwork just because it's harmful to your crooked political patron. That's their job to be your watchdog and have jurisdiction over your actions. I'm sure our Democrat friends here on IE will angered at this blatant threat to democracy.

Sure I do. Biden and Obama share a lot of staff. Obama was not great at negotiating (better at campaigning and getting a big majority). Biden was often used as a congressional go between (and Harry Reid got pissed because he made too many deals).

Biden's strength has always been deal making/legislative maneuvering. He's like that old rec league guy who dominates younger more talented players with great shooting and passing despite having a 0 inch vertical and surgically repaired knees.

Joe can’t even follow a teleprompter, forgets peoples names and he negotiated a masterful deal? Lol

The fact of the matter is neither side won these talks. It’s the first time in a long time we’ve seen both parties give some which is a step in the right direction.
