He’s 81 years old.
Nothing against old people... I aspire to become one. However, if your age renders you incapable of physically or mentally performing certain tasks, perhaps you shouldn't continue attempting to do those things any longer. If your vision and reaction times have eroded enough due to age that you're running red lights and turning in front of oncoming traffic, we don't say, "Oh, he's 81, no problem." No, we take away your driving privileges to protect you and others. If a surgeon's hands shake or he can't remember the procedure to perform an operation because of his age, we don't say, "He's 81" and continue to allow him to operate. We all realize Joe's 81, but he clearly can no longer think clearly, remember accurately, nor string together a coherent sentence or idea on a consistent basis. He doesn't need to be in charge of anything of importance any longer.

I’m not outraged. What do you think we should do? Start WWIII? By the way, everybody spies on everybody. The difference is I expect the government to respond appropriately regardless of party (except Trump.)
An aircraft (now multiple) owned by the Chinese is hovering over your country. This aircraft is unmanned. You think by taking action against this balloon that it would be an act of war?

“Everybody spies on everybody”, cool!! But the Chinese are so brazen they are doing it right in front of our faces. It’s amazing that your response is “well we do it” and shrug it off.

Read the last sentence in my post. Then read it again. Can you grasp this simple statement? If not, maybe go down to the local elementary school and have someone read it to you and tell you what it means.

Read what I wrote. Then hop on one foot and rub your belly. I don’t think we will agree, so move on.

Trust the science. That's a man with two X chromosomes and no uterus. He's a man with a mental disorder playing make believe. He's no more a woman than I'm a dog if I dress up as one for Halloween and bark.
Sex does not equal gender. That's why they're a transgender person, not transexual. This isn't complicated.

It’s a circular definition. It’s like saying a car is a car because it’s a car.
Gender is based on societal norms, if societal norms evolve then parts of society will change as well. Fortunately, we know that transgender people have existed for a long time so this isn't really a discussion.

You jump through whatever mental hoops you need to in order to toe the party line. That's a man with issues, not a woman. You know it, I know it, we all know it. Some of us just have to pretend otherwise because it's the woke, PC thing to do right now. A few of you are like the people watching the naked emperor walk by and gushing over how fabulous his outfit is so you can impress the other gullible parrots. The rest of us are laughing at the naked fool with his junk hanging out as he struts down the street. I feel bad for the guy. He has issues. I'm not going to go along with his delusions, though, any more than I'll pretend to talk to a schizophrenic's imaginary friends.

Party line? Nah, these are my own thoughts. There's literally no impact on you, other than you wanting to be cruel to someone. That's it. You clearly don't feel bad if you're going to say the things you do. It's sad, but expected.

Sex and gender are interchangeable. When we were growing up, people now called transgender were called transsexuals. People realized that sex had a very concrete definition, so they chose an adjacent word without the same concrete definition.

Its sorta how a certain crowd quit calling semi-automatic weapons "assault rifles" and started calling them "assault weapons."

Sex and gender are the same thing. Gaslighting doesn't change that.

I expect nothing less from you, Bishop. I suppose you can’t overcome your genetic predisposition for bigotry. I’d also imagine your early childhood development in 1960’s Alabama provided enough nurture for it.

It’s really too bad because you’re obviously quite intelligent. I expect it from people with sub-90 IQs but you are gifted with abilities that many don’t have.

Imagine how much you could’ve accomplished in your life with an open mind. An open mind to people who are different from you, to ideas that are foreign or to opinions that are antithetical to yours. Imagine how much more you could’ve learned in your life.

It’s not over yet, though. You still have the opportunity to grow.

I'm not being cruel. I'm being accurate and realistic and factual. He's not a woman. Period. He's a man with a mental disorder, or at best, some serious personal and psychological issues. Encouraging him to progress further into this delusion - or any delusion - is cruel and inhumane. Kindly and gently guide such people to help and to reality, just as we would someone who hears voices, thinks aliens are implanting brain control devices in their head, or think they're a vampire and must drink blood or their own will turn to powder. Not very different from someone who has cancer and refuses to acknowledge it and deal with it. It's a delusion. I don't know what went wrong in his life to so screw him up, but something did, and this is 100% NOT a mentally healthy, well-adjusted person. I'm not advocating throwing him off a tall building, imprisoning him, or any other thing of the kind. I'm advocating recognizing the issue for it is and providing support and help instead of encouraging a further descent into psychopathy in the name of woke silliness.

Do you feel the same way about homosexuals?

There's probably no such thing as a genetic predisposition to bigotry other than one for xenophobia (a matter for another discussion). My early childhood (and late childhood too) were actually rather free from bigotry and were quite healthy and happy. Your assumption that all people raised in The South were violent racists who burned crosses and hated anyone different from themselves is not only grossly inaccurate, but quite prejudiced and bigoted itself.

Despite your inaccurate assumptions about my childhood and shortcomings, I'm actually rather open and accepting of people and ideas different from myself and have been relatively successful in my personal life and career. I'm just not gullible and easily swayed by nonsense and rationally ridiculous Newthink. I've seen hundreds of such bits of silly fluff come and go in my life and have learned to use my BS radar and know the difference between temporary cultural nonsense and permanent factual reality.

However, thanks for the compliment and the concern.
