I honestly can't wrap my mind around Vegas saying Lsu would be favorites vs ND on a neutral field. Do they even watch the games? Honestly, the team gave up 35 points to Ole Miss at home this week? What football mind could honestly look at both teams and say LSU is better, other than an LSU fan. Blows my mind.

If you were to ask one of those so called experts why all 5 sec teams would be favored against nd, listen to the tone and pace rather than the words and you would have your answer. Envy....Irish Envy

To their defense (that tasted like vinegar), they did the same when they revealed Bama as #1 previously. There wasn't any real suspense with us being #1.

Palmer has given us some credit in the past. I've never heard Pollack make a single complimentary remark about ND.

Everyone mentioned KState's bad loss but nobody mentions Georgia losing to S. Carolina by 28.

Pollack seemed to be behind ND when Gameday was in South Bend for the Stanford game (if I'm remembering correctly). Gave ND's front seven plenty of respect. Since then, nothing. Maybe he was simply afraid of the atmosphere and didn't want to upset anyone. Or possibly trying the jinx method, realized it didn't work, and now simply ignores them.

It's a shame, too. Seemed like a smart guy when he started off on the SEC network pregame show. I guess that spells out the problem though.

It feels so good to see that #1 next to Notre Dame. The past day and a half have been surreal. Senior Day, Manti's last home game, a dominate win against Wake, Oregon and KSU losing, and now we're #1.

I'm also glad Palmer admitted that they've been sh**ting on ND all year and now they have to sit there and talk about them being #1. I'm also interested to hear how LSU, Georgia, or even Florid would be favored against us. Give Diaco a month and he would find a way to shut down Johnny Football. I'll give 'Bama being a favored against us, maybe not by 10, but they are the defending champions.
