I find them more sleazy than soft from my experience, but fair enough.Every Jersey kid I know is a puss. Just saying I'm not impressed.

All this is true... The defense kept the Irish in this game. I'm not going to bring hell on any one individual except the kicker. Basically, 13 points were left on the field... the first missed extra-point led to going for two on second/third TDs and the fumble on the 2/3 yd line didn't help either. That would have changed the dynamic score (a little) of this game outside of the 1st qtr sluggish play. In the third qtr, defense made stupid mistakes and BC owned 80ish% of the qtr in gametime. This was their first road game in over a month, only their third of the year, coming off a bye week. I want to give these guys some grace, but they have to clean up a lot and I feel like we keep saying that week after week despite the win streak.
Penalties. Discipline. That's within their control.
It's November. They're banged up. Have starters missing. That goes for everyone else. I think the staff and players have the character to rise above the circumstances. We've seen it before. They have a lot going for them and there are a lot of teams that would trade places with them in a second. Miami being one of those, I'd venture to guess.
They got the dub, and it's harder than it looks to win games no matter who you play. Go get the next one. Get 1% better this week and another dub is in the cards.
Onward. Rally.
Actually on first down runs, but you do you.Well those two yard gains were on third and ones repeatedly and we haven’t stopped one this season.
Some folks on this board have never run out of gas in Irvington. Or Newark. Or East Orange. Or Camden. And, honestly, it shows.Big difference between the wannabe guido tough guys with financial industry dads and Adon growing up Irvington.
I worked in Camden for 2 years. Definitely “tough” growing up there. Some folks on this board have never run out of gas in Irvington. Or Newark. Or East Orange. Or Camden. And, honestly, it shows.
There's some truth to that. It's just that Irvingtons exist everywhere.Big difference between the wannabe guido tough guys with financial industry dads and Adon growing up Irvington.
I'm glad you took my suggestionEven the Mrs. said something about the BC slant. She got so pissed at the refs during the phantom facemask call she got up and went out to the garage. After the interception , she came back in to get a drink and I told her of the INT, to which she said she better stay in the garage for luck. Goes back out and Love takes it to the house. Comes back in a little later and I tell her Love broke a 94 yard TD. I told her I was contemplating locking the garage door until the end of the game.

One of my best friends came to ISU from Trenton on a track scholarship. Super athletic family. Tyler Stockton is his cousin. He would talk often about Trenton and living in that area and missing things like hoagies, “wooder ice,” and TastyKake (before they went national). Like a different world. Mostly he would talk about how rough Trenton was and some of his experiences. He always said how lucky he was to be fast bc he was able to make it out. One year a couple of his buddies came to visit when we were 21 and do a weekend of partying. Came to find out they were both affiliated. Nicest dudes. Hilarious. From that visit they both were shot and killed within a year. I’ll never forget him talking about the “Trenton Makes, the World Takes” motto and sign on the bridge and him commenting that the sad thing is that Trenton also takes from itself. Some folks on this board have never run out of gas in Irvington. BC was not very athletic. That is what makes it frustrating that we still have the problems on say 4th and 1.Love was jogging.
who reported this?SIAP
Official came into ND locker room after the game to let ND know that they should NOT have called the facemask penalty on Burnham when he sacked the BC QB. Lot of good that does but nonetheless
