Jimmy stares his receiver down so the defense knows where he's going.
Our special teams suck.
We will not do well until we win the battle in the trenches.

Where are the changes and attitude I heard about during the week? What a bunch of bullshit. We still haven't beaten a team with a winning record. Syracuse is our only guarantee at this point and we don't deserve to go to a bowl at 6-6.

I'm tired of looking through rose colored glasses. We are not a good team. I'm not calling for heads or coaches jobs, but at this point I don't know what we can do to change the culture of this team. But I am so fucking tired of losing. Disagree if you want, but I'm just calling it as I see it. I'll always root for the Irish,but I'm really getting tired of being disappointed.

I've known all along that our o-line and Latina both suck but I've tried to be optimistic. Than, against Pitt, they were giving up sacks when Pitt was rushing THREE FUCKING GUYS. ... Fuck it.

Replays I have watched showed that all Pitt did was line up outside the tackles and outsprint the Oline to get to Jimmy. Where was the farging offensive coach who couldn't figger out to toss a flair pass around the charging end?

NC State is 3-6 and they scored 31 on BC. We got shutout. At this point, I'd almost say Willingham is a better game day coach than Weis. Yeah, I went there!

It seems like teams game plan for us. You know, they watch film and then they prepare a scheme to beat us.

Conversely, it looks like CW and Co. just run the same plays every week. There is no recognition of what the other team's strengths/weaknesses are. This game looked like we could've ran a lot of intermediate routes but, instead, we just throw deep or run (usually for a yard). It's just the same thing every week and the attitude is "if it works great, if it doesn't....well....than it doesn't". To this point in the season.....IT DOESN'T.

This team is predictable. Every Saturday is fucking deja vu.

I am so sick of people comparing this kid to BQ...BQ was a high class kid with a good head on his shoulders...a true leader the first time he stepped onto the field even when he did not play good! If it was not for Tate and Floyd JC would be horrible period. Add that to the Hummer announcement and the other character issues and he is NO BQ! There is nothing personal about saying a QB sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I brought it up earlier. The only good thing about that is the extra practice time available to the younger guys. We won't beat anyone good enough to make it to a bowl game.

This is what I don't get about Charlie. He is supposed to be this offensive guru. The best that there is when it comes to grooming QB's. I mean he took a horrible kid like Tom Brady ( sarcasim ) and turned him into a 3 time Super Bowl Champ. Yet, he can not teach an emtremely talented young QB to check of his damn receivers. This was the first thing I was taught as a high school player. I just don't see how this basic skill has been overlooked for the last two seasons.

Even with 4 pics, JC is not all to blame. He has weak protection, no run game, etc. He is much better this year than I thought he'd be (this game aside) There are much bigger problems that need to be addressed.

This crap is ridiculous. BQ was mediocre as a soph, JC has looked better for the most part. (other than tonight) Quit your JC-hating agenda and act like a non-retard.

That would be a dream come true, but I'm not sure it's in the cards. It's unclear who's available out there, but with regards to my last post: I would take Jim Harbaugh as our head coach and our current group of guys right now and look forward to great things next year and in the years to come. To everyone that was calling me out a few weeks back for calling 9-2.....I'm eating crowe.

Let me try again: 6-6 (regular season). We're going to lose to Navy 35-20. Beat Syracuse 2-0 and then lose to USC 66-0.

Bowl game....we're going to lose to somebody, 35-7.

6-7.

And another offseason of hearing about great recruits and what good shape the program is in for the next few years. Weis will beef the o-line up to 350 and next season we'll go
7-6 (counting the bowl game).

Can we step back and realize that our QB is a sophomore. Our top RBs are sophomores. Our top WRs are a sophomore and a freshman. Our TE is a freshman. Our OL has a freshman getting lots of time.

Defense is relying on B. Smith (sophomore), E. Johnson (freshman), Williams (Sophomore), H. Smith (sophomore), Fleming (freshman), Blanton (freshman), and on and on...

If we suck in 2 years, Charlie is officially terrible. Youth can be successful...when they are surrounded by experienced players. An entire team of underclassmen will show flashes, but will always be inconsistent.

Isn't that exactly what we're seeing right now?

Jimmy does not suck. He is trying to do what he is coached. I was never a fan of Weis, but never a hater either. I just don't like his offensive scheme. Never have. Even during his first two years, all I could do was point to the flaws.

I still think the defense is not that bad. Secondary is pretty good. I'm still holding out for these guys, but right about now, I think they need to turn in their uniforms and go play volleyball for a couple weeks.

You can't blame bad coaching on Charlie, because he only has limited ability with playcalling and he racks up elite recruiting classes. The hummer...the cocky attitude last year when we were getting our butts kicked several times and the Alchohol issues. I know college kids drink but you have to be smart enough not to smile for a picture!
