for ND Men's basketball with Grant and Atkins REALLY stepping up as just sophomores, and Connaughton behind them as a freshman. Then a great recruiting class coming in (Biedschied, Burgett, and Auguste) along with Katenda coming in. Things are looking GREAT for the foreseeable future for our basketball team. Even this year we were supposed to be counted out after the Abro injury but we're still battling back. I love the resiliency! Go Irish!

yeah I've been thinking this all season. Grant and Connaughton have 3 more years of elibibility, and don't forget that MSU transfer that is supposed to be quite good. With the class coming in next year I can't wait for 2013-2016.

The MSU transfer is Garrick "the sherminator" Sherman. He will be a nice inside presence with an ability to rebound for ND. Don't expect alot of scoring. We need rebounders though.

Who has called for brey to be fired? I think everyone has come to the consensus that he is a damn good but not great coach who does a lot with marginal talent.

Quite a few football players stormed the court. Tuitt led the way and I ran into Big Lou (I'm ok, don't worry), TJ Jones, Atkinson, and a few other guys.

There are two groups of fans. One group is content with overachieving in the regular season every year and making the tournament 4 out of 5 years. Mike Brey is the best possible coach for this group.

The other group believes that ND can make it back to the final four. They would rather see us have 3 mediocre years in return for a deep postseason run every four years. Mike Brey is not the coach for this group.

You can't fault anyone for being part of either group.

I would argue that Mike Brey is also not the coach for you. He consistently gets outcoached in the tournament. I believe he has only made the sweet sixteen once. But I also agree that there isn't a better option out there except brad stevens. Right on
