I vote we make 'craziest neg repper' an IE award.

I've gotten some puzzlers, but none worse that OMM's red bomb for putting 'Cam McDaniel - Day to day - injured ego' in the 'injury update' thread, right after Cam went backwards through the machine and it made its way onto the internet lol.

I didn't call him out publicly at the time, because I didn't want to be dramatic. But he continued to neg rep me on the weirdest of things so I stopped trying to protect his.... whatever you want to call it.

I got one from Clashmore_jon for the Winston thread, the post where I called irishpat ignorant and not rude. Still puzzling to me. And he doesn't take pms and didn't answer when I asked him in the thread.

If you guys haven't gotten a neg rep from BGIF, you haven't been around long enough or opinionated enough.

That being said, I think he is fair and consistent in his reasoning for using the function.

He also doesn't hold grudges.

Proof is he and my relationship.

Pull up your big boy pants boys. If you have a controversial opinion, know you may receive one. Or four. It goes with the territory of trying to bring back ghosts.

As long as your objectivity with where this is going doesn't infringe upon others, you're good.

But as soon as you start knocking mods for disagreeing and being hateful towards them, realize you've opened up a neg rep wormhole.

As far as Koontah Kentay not getting over a neg rep from OMM, really bro? Would you seek to call out your awesome granddad for a belt whooping? Maybe tell mom?

Good thing you waited until a big argument about banned users to publicly call him out, because that's not being dramatic at all.

It's laughable that you think anybody, especially a well respected guy like OMM, would need your "protection".

If you are getting neg repped by a salt of the earth type dude like, OMM… then maybe it's you that is the problem? If I ever got neg repped by OMM, I would see that as a clear sign that i'm being an imbecile.

Or it's a good thing he waited until someone brought up the exact topic of nominating funny neg reps as an IE award. I don't exactly consider that calling him out, rather adding an example of what would be nominated for that award. Also ignore Grahambo completely for doing the same thing two post earlier with no hint of humor.

Maybe being neg repped by OMM doesn't always mean your being an imbecile, maybe he didn't get the joke Kuehnja was making and jumped to the defense of Cam. But it's laughable to think a Notre Dame running back like Cam would need "protection".

Anyone that doesn't realize that all of the FreePat stuff is just for fun probably should just avoid this thread. Do I want pat back? Sure. Do I understand why Lax banned him and wouldn't want him back? Of course. I just find the topic and mini war extremely entertaining.

On the subject of negative reps, I don't think there is a thing wrong with calling out the negative repper. Just like you can argue that if you want to have a strong opinion you should be willing to take a negative rep, you can say that if you are willing to negative rep a guy, you ought to be man enough to defend your negative rep.

To BGIF's credit, when called on it, he is man enough to defend his negative reps and not hide behind the chimera of "reputation" or "seniority."

Good attempt! No, it was a facetious reply in that 10,2041 people that all love the big "K" have told him gently and kindly that they love him and that he gets a bit too carried away at times. I express that as "ass hat" for the sake of a little color in the conversation.

So when big "K" gets too rambunctious, and someone with impeccable balance and character like Mike red-reps him for it . dot . dot. dot . and then big "K" comes back and accuses Mike of doing something miffy like getting hurt feelings over and or for protecting a player, and becomes quite condescending, after all the talk about what got Pat banned and why it was permanent . . .
