Sam Houston State playing for a title. We get the chance for a rematch against the team that beat us last year, North Dakota State. Eat em' up Kats!

Other than Notre Dame football, my sports year has sucked a big one!!

IU and Colts fan and go to school at Ball State so its pretty much like watching porn every time I turn on a sports station. Plus having 3 friends playing on this ND team, and another one who just won a national championship at Marion. Not to mention U$C completely collapsing and them retaining Kiffin as their head coach. I don't think that the sports world could get much better right now.

When the Bears were 7-1, this year had a cosmic feel to it. Now that the Bears are effectively toast and it's just ND in the title game, this year had a cosmic feel to it.

Aside from the Cubs, this year has been a pretty good sports year for me too.

Colts, Irish both destroying the low expectations everyone had for them

I would like every single team I support (Denver Peyton Mannings, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins (NHL can die), red sox) to not win a championship ever if it meant ND would win one every 5.

When the Hawks hoisted the Cup, it completed a championship from every one of my teams during my lifetime, but there is absolutely NOTHING that would mean more than the one this year. It wouldn't even be close.

Well my sports year saw the Kings win the Stanley Cup and then the NHL committed suicide. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to college football when ND wins the championship.

Between Manning and Luck I have never seen a luckier franchise in terms of "right place right time" than the Colts. Totally jealous.

Getting Manning was a smart decision, just like taking Edgerrin James over Ricky Williams...
