Best tackling game I can remember. If Mills gets one of his paws on you you’re going down. Out LB coach is badass. Snead and Ausberry are coming on strong.

Mills has become a monster. Better and better with each passing game, just like last year

Thankfully I got there early & was able to get in with time to spare bc it got brutal after that with the entry.

But since we got in early, myself & my two older boys (9 & 11) went to our seats in right field front row to watch the warm up & one of the refs ran over & threw two of the commemorative toss coins to me for the kids.. that was really cool.

The game atmosphere was ok.. It’s a combo of it being in Yankee Stadium & ND fans just never getting too loud. But our section was awesome & we were right next to the team & end zone to see a few TDs up close.

The band was right behind us so we had that going all night & Marcus & the team were right in front of us for the alma mater.

We hung back after & sauntered over to the team family waiting area, which was behind the Yankees dugout & the boys got to meet Riley Leonard & Angeli & get pics & autographs which was real nice. Of course we waited until they met with their families.

As we were about to leave, more & more players came out & were eager to take pics with the boys so we met & chatted with about 20 of them..

Everyone was super friendly & welcoming & I’m not sure my kids will realize it until they’re older but they had a legendary night meeting so many players & will have tons of keepsakes with the commemorative coins, pictures, autographs & Angeli giving one of them his towel lol

All in all, great night as a Notre Dame & Yankees fan. I also almost called the score exactly.. I said a dominant 44-16

USC makes me nervous but just bc there’s so much on the line.. We should be able to keep the momentum going & secure that 5 seed ideally.

Just watched the replay of the game. Only thing I want to add is it was great watching us play on grass this past weekend. The field looked great, and seemed to play pretty well for the most part. I saw a couple slips and footing issues from receivers, and other issues. But overall, I thought it was pretty clean all the way around. I miss grass sometimes. Better go touch some...
