I'm not too down on the departures. Rick's character was tired. Carl was my all time least favorite character. I was bored with Maggie, but liked the possibilities of her being a bad ass. Michonne's character was getting a little tired like Rick's. Jesus never did if for me.

Daryl is my favorite. If he were to go, I'd be pissed. If Negan has a larger part in second half of the season, that's all I'll need to stay interested. The addition coming up of the leader (Alpha) of the whisperers will probably be one of the best actors to ever join the cast. Lot of potential in part 2 of the season.

I enjoyed it. Love the Negan/Judith dynamic. Wonder if Negan ends up being a true "savior" this season....

Disappointed we didn't meet Alpha this episode.

Good back story episode. Finally got to see why Michonne turned out the way she did and is being all about Alexandria and not allowing new entries into the community. From the looks of the previews, the final two episodes of the season will be gut wrenching.

Complaint- not sure what the hell happened but did anyone else have problems throughout the episode with the show just.randomly and frequently cutting to commercials? I know there’s lots of breaks but these commercials were being cut to in the middle of scenes and sometimes in the middle of sentences. Not sure how much I missed but that kind of pissed me off.

I had watched the show since the beginning but finally ripped off the bandaid a couple weeks ago & gave up on it...show's been going downhill for so long that I don't miss it at all.

I agree with this. I think that the killing of the "children Of The Corn" was done as well as it could have been done in this PC age. Im sure that it would be hard to show the killing of little kids regardless of their level of evil and see how it would be quite upsetting to some if done graphically. I do really like how Michonne seemed to try not to kill them but HAD TO to save Judith and the other "Non possessed kids".

If the show follows the comics there are going to be some shocking deaths coming up. People you don't expect to die. Show definitely needs it.

I haven't seen last night's episode but I did like the one from last week. The deaf character is pretty cool and I like the potential love interest for Daryl. I'm not a huge fan of the focus on Carol's "son" though. He shouldn't be so stupid considering he was raised in the post-apocalyptic world most of his life.

You forget what it's like to be 16 with a body full of hormones and a raging boner. Plus, it's not like there's a swath of eligible teen girls to dry hump. You might fall for the first girl wearing a skinned zombie face too!

Really surprised Ezekiel didn't get it but I honestly like that the King is still around to avenge his boy. Really hope that there was an emotional attachment of some sort for Negan with the red head. Was hoping someone would go that would encourage Negan to get f'd off and join the cause. Just don't see any of these deaths having that much of an effect on him.

So starting out this season we lost Rick (still alive somewhere), and then Maggie (still alive somewhere), and Jesus. The losses last night were very impacting (one of the community leaders) and a few major personalities, but overall weren't huge.

Wish we could have seen more of the highwaymen. I thought Brett Butler was a nice addition and hate to see her gone. Enid was the only one that made me go "oh my" though. Tara has always been a meh to me.

My only wish, RELEASE THE NEGAN.
I'd love to see him mix it up with Beta, although I think it will be Daryl. A great scene would be Negan and Judith taking out Beta and Alpha.

Love Morton. Great addition to the cast.
