Who here watches anime and what is currently your favorite anime out at the moment. My current favorite is the awesome One Punch Man

When I was a kid I was obsessed with Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing. In college I used to watch some Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, and One Piece. But lately I just dont watch much of anything anymore tv show wise. I struggle just to watch some movies that interest me. I wouldn't even know which Anime is supposed to be good anymore. Any suggestions for when I find some spare time?

Haven't watched much but I'll give it a shot. More into the Step-mother/step-daughter/boyfriend stuff.

I stopped watching a few years ago but have watched a ton in the past -- what are you into? You should look up anime flowcharts to see what you should watch based on your interests.

All-time favorite series: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Escaflowne, Saishuu Heiki Kanojo, Serial Experiments: Lain, Prince of Tennis, Love Hina, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Chobits, Death Note, Naruto, Bleach, School Rumble

All-time live action: Great Teacher Onizuka, H2

All-time favorite movies: Akira, Ninja Scroll, Escaflowne Movie, Tenchi Muyo! movies, Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away

WTF did I just watch: Mouse, Gravitation, Raimuiro Senkitan

These are all over the place... for a new watcher I'd recommend Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo, they're from (played on not made for) Adult Swim so they're a little more American-ized, or at least more widely accepted/available. School Rumble is hilarious, most people would like that too if you find good subtitles.

I used to be into anime, but then they all just seemed like the same story told with different characters and settings. For example, there seems to be a bunch of shows featuring kawaii female vampires. What's up with that?
