I think we went over this one before, but being a player at Michigan nets you a cameo on a shitty Saved by the Bell spinoff. Being a player at ND nets you a supporting role in a shitty Saved by the Bell spinoff:

Of course, it goes without saying, being related to Screech may explain a lot of Harbaugh's behavior.

I'd take him as a coach. Unfortunately knowing full well that his lunancy will wear out in about 5 years. I love his antics, I love that he makes media people work hard for interviews and seldom gives any information and is always looking at the reporters "angle".

Wouldn't be surprised if Sparty did this themselves to fire up the team and fans. Our coach would do stuff like this before a big rivalry game.

That is what a UM fan said in the comments of an article I read on the incident. Of course Sparty fans are saying Morgan Freeman is going to be upset. (Apparently the running joke is the statue looks more like Morgan Freeman than magic Johnson)

Personally I wouldn't put it by either side

Seeing the dumpster fire that is SF now, I would rather have had Harbaugh in the Bay Area, because he took a dormant franchise and made it relevant again.

That way I could still like Jim, despite his massively lunatic behavior.

Michigan will put up with his antics as long as he is winning like he is now. He is a massive upgrade over Hoke, so I doubt UM suffers the same fate.

Plus, I believe JH has a LOT more control over his program than he did in SF and will not have to deal with two morons like York and Baalke.

And if they are this successful right out of the gate, he may get a decade or longer at UM, if he wants.

Harbaugh is an absolute lunatic and possibly 'on the spectrum'.

However, I wouldn't call him a d-bag. I think some of the times he comes off as a d-bag are just his lack of social skills. He was on the Waddle and Silvy show (ESPN Chicago) a while back and his true side came out. He was the QB when Tom Waddle was playing WR for the Bears. They reconnected over old times and seemed to have a genuine conversation. Waddle was even a bit choked up by the end of the interview.

But yeah, he is a hell of a coach but also insane.
