As a proud coach in the WCAC -- where we pump out 5-stars than Bama -- I'll take what I can get.
Lol hey I'll take whatever we can get. Was always jealous of the Catholic schools.

Reuters has been left leaning for the past year, IMO. It's sad to see a once truly balanced media option turn to take a side.
It is still one of my first news sources I look to, but once they start swaying your opinion in print, I have to move on.
Even the objective media has shown up. Reuters usually get passed off as a fair source too!

Reuters can vary a bunch from writer to writer, and that's been the situation for a long time. I think the difference is, whoever is editing or choosing the stories, has changed, or is folding to some pressure. And you're right, the lean has increased more and more.
But yes, sad, as it's my go-to as well.
This is really disappointing to see. As someone who used to work within the Reuters organization (Not the news, different branch) until recently, they were adamant to avoid biased reporting for years. After the 2016 election they sent out a company wide memorandum that they would avoid playing politics and continue to report just the facts without the opinion. It looks like they're getting away from that, which is sad. It was one of the last bastions of solid reporting, hopefully they find their way again.
Reuters referred to the shit in Louisville tonight as "mostly peaceful." The media is broken
Thought you were kidding for a moment, but sure enough...

Looks like they updated the article though. When you go to the link the title changes to "Two police officers shot amid Louisville protests over Breonna Taylor ruling" and there's no mention of the peaceful protest anymore. Looks like whoever wrote the first article jumped the gun, it was written before the 9pm curfew.
Prayers for the officers injured tonight and the family of Ms. Taylor.
Why the need to even jump to ‘mostly peaceful’ for every single protest,... that alone....

The democrats are probably going to run Barrett through the meat grinder which will be a bad look to squishy Catholics and middle aged white women. Very risky because of the wall to wall coverage and they need those two demographics to show up IMO.
This is going to be beautiful watching Libs get mad at her. Genuinely disgusting people who will stop at nothing in the name of slaughtering the unborn.
When I was 15 (2001) ACB got me drunk and fondled my balls. I smiled the whole time. Spread the word.

They were already trying to bring her down on Twitter yesterday. Calling her Aunt Lydia or something, ties to Handmaiden's tale or some shit. I wasn't really paying attention, wasn't worth the pixels it was printed on. ACB could be Mother Theresa and they'd call her a slut. Silly stuff.
Need to put the confirmation hearings on a fast track so we can watch a real meltdown.
What a world - Columbia University (Ivy League school) is too Liberal to use as a source. However, Ian Miles Cheong, who's a noted Hitler apologist is A-OK.
For those who don't know about IMC, some good background on him - https://medium.com/@dashwallkick/a-thousand-ants-a-million-faces-ian-miles-cheong-b32d8c356114
Dude, you're better than that.
Factbox:What are the steps to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court?
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...arrett-to-the-u-s-supreme-court-idUSKBN26H12G
The hearings are due to start Oct. 12, multiple U.S. media outlets reported, citing Republican Senate sources.
It would be more appropriate for Mitch to call for a voice vote tomorrow to confirm.
